Due to engineering work, Dylan and Daniel find out that Southeastern are running a quite unusual service from Cannon Street to London Bridge, a journey of only 3 minutes.
Back in the 1990s there was a Cannon Street to London Bridge shuttle (formed of a 4EPB before they were withdrawn) which ran between the morning and evening peaks In those days all off peak services from Dartford, Hayes, Orpington etc ran to Charing Cross
Sotourbridge shuttle or Brighton to Hove are surely just as odd journeys and they are regular routes rather than engineering specials. (Also Colchester to Colchester Town)?
Something weird I've done is a London Charing Cross looper service, were I started at London Charing Cross and returned back to London Charing Cross going via Lewisham, Woolwich Arsenal & Bexleyheath. That was because Dartford was closed for works, that service normally happens about 3-4 times a year on Sunday's usually.
Been on the DLR from Woolwich arsenal to King George V via the wrong tunnel (due to signal failure ) also been on a train to Woolwich arsenal where the power failed In the tunnel
Southeastern service from Victoria to Gillingham via Sidcup and higham, usually a 465 service, Made a small video on it, it’s a parliamentary train for higham!
Stourbridge shuttle from Stourbridge Junction to Stourbridge Town

The shortest journey between two stations is from Maidstone Barracks to Maidstone West on the Medway Valley Line
I always thought that the shuttle from Cardiff Queen Street to Cardiff bay was quite odd
Folkestone Central to Folkestone west 82 seconds 🤣
Is it regular?
The infamous Wrexham run
I’ve done the two minute journey from Purley to Purley Oaks on Southern. Not sure if SouthEastern run any trains between the two.
The 1 minute journey between South and East Croydon is also quite unusual
@@trainlagthegame anerley to penge west also
Went from Charing Cross to Cannon Street once (or vice versa). Can’t remember the reason!

Did Charring cross to Cannon Street years ago

I thought it was New Beckenham to Lower Sydenham
I also thought it was Bromley north to grove park

I’ve been on Thameslink from King’s Cross to potters bar (where it terminated) and King’s Cross was TOO EMPTY for comfort
London Bridge and city lin XD
What's the idea of this shuttle.?
What purpose does it serve ?
I think that is that is a pointless route
I Agree With You
Did Victoria to Blackfriars ( National Rail not
London Underground)
Stechford to lea hall is only 2 minutes
What about waterloo East to charing Cross I thought that would be faster
They mean from the start to end of the full service, not just two stops
