Still don't understand why people still buy Canon for video, they are so far behind. You are better off getting mirorrless like Sony or Panasonic, they are far better. Glad to see someone doing this again. Ride channel dropped in-focus completely haha I have pretty extended knowledge in both photo and video, but it's always worth the watch because you can always learn something new.
JasonBornTV You could buy a sigma lens, it comes with a lens hood that gives a very strong vignette, or you could at it in post. Personally I don't like any vignetting at all.

I have only like two videos of iphone footage and that's it I would honestly just stick to my DSLR and keep filming with that, and that my friend makes filming for me, fun.
You want to know how to setup up your camera? If you're filming at 24 FPS use a shutter speed of 1/50 or so 30 FPS- 1/60 60 FPS- 1/120 So on and so forth. have the shutter speed double the frame rate (for the most part) In terms of F stop I would just set till the video isn't over exposed or underexposed (that means you'll have to close it down or open it up for the lighting condition) That's the basic stuff
***** Aperture controls your depth of field more importantly, you set that and your shutter speed first for the look you want. Then adjust ISO for brightness by increasing your sensor's sensitivity. If I am shooting 60 FPS I prefer 1/250 for video if I have enough light, just depends on the amount of motion blur you do or don't want.
