I met Kenny James who did Bowser's voice in every game that he is featured in after Super Mario Sunshine. He told me that voicing Bowser is a very physically painful experience after doing that rough and guttural sounding voice for four hours a day. He is a very nice guy if you ever get a chance to meet him at local convention like I did.
Kenny deserves more credit, i mean he voices Bowser of all videogame characters and does a really good job at it, i wish they used his voice in Smash Bros

I find it hilarious that Donkey Kong’s Mario Party and Mario Kart 'voice' is literally the stock angry chimpanzee sound effect, but slightly at a lower pitch. All you hear is: "BWARH BWARH OOH OOH GOOH GOOH" every time he 'talks'.

9:25 Actually, 64 Bowser's fire breath sound is actually(and originally) one of the many stock audios(or stock sound effects) perfomed by the famous Frank Welker, who is known for making these particular reptilian roar and growls for the movie The Land Before Time. To me, I just call these one sounds as "Tarbosaurus sounds".
I remember when I was 4 and got to the 1st castle on New Super Mario DS and when I got to Bowser and heard his roar, I turned the DS off and cried. My dad had to beat it for me, I was too scared! 😂

Donkey Kong's old voice becoming Diddy Kong's new voice is one of my all-time favorite coincidences in Nintendo history!
i knew the Bowser Laught was a slowed version of the sound effect of Boo Laught but i didnt expected this Laught was for a archive performance of Charles Martinet the man who voice Mario, Luigi, Wario and Waluigi since Super Mario 64 and when this character first got a staring role or become a playable character, so in a sense Charles Martinet also voice Bowser in Super Mario 64 before Bowser got a Voice Actor in Super Mario Sunshine onwards.
I already knew that Boo's old sound in the N64 days was a sped up version of Bowser's, but hearing that it actually altogether came from Charles Martinet himself laughing really is a SHOCK and total coincidence! My childhood is haunted. But the big cat and pig sounds isn't that much of a surprise, because I knew Bowser had to sound like a beast as he is (I knew the cougar roar was familiar). Kinda strange that in the Super Mario 64 game itself, his sounds are in a lower pitch than the original recordings. But 7:03 caught me completely off-guard. They changed a lot in “Triforce of the Gods” when they made it into “A Link to the Past”. NoA also changed “Gannon” to “Ganon”. It was supposed to be “Gannon”, tho... That spelling was intentional. It’s an actual name, like “Zelda”. And from a similar region too.
