how do you get the melee from the grapple to activate so fast? on console it seems like there is a noticable delay before i can grapple melee or i just regular melee

idk if you got your answer already, but just incase: Grappling to a tangle or a grapple point fully refreshes the grapple. The grapple melee is a bit tricky to get down, since I think it's activated based on velocity which you have throughout the grappling. Meaning when you reach a set velocity, then you can grapple melee; do the thing that did a ton of damage. To do this, you want to place a tangle preferably far away, or a grapple point with The Navigator, although you will miss out on tractor, grapple to it ( and since you're far, your initial velocity will be faster, meaning you will immediately reach the threshold and be able to grapple melee ). The full rotation includes a one two punch shotgun and the tractor itself. On the first boss it's -Tractor -One two punch shotgun -Two regular charged melees -Grapple melee -One two punch shotgun -Grapple melee ... until the DPS ends

armor charges and grapple refunds when used on tangles
plus when you're strand in the dungeon grapple points appear throughout
