LOL ! Oh Butters! You truly know how to think like a predator. 😆 A greater danger is the bear breaking in, and eating your food. Not just one time, but whenever it wants. In fact the large, metal containers people keep food in, like refrigerators, or freezers or pantry cabinets? Bears can open them as easily as we can. And, they are strong enough that locking the metal containers will not stop them from ripping them open. (I don't know how important this is to a cat, but people also don't like that the bear will mess up the house, too). No, the bears are most likely to attack someone if they try _to stop_ them from getting to the food, or eating it! 👍
I can't believe someone can have such an encounter and not shit themselves. Imagine how hungry the bear must have been to find the courage to go to a russian to beg for food.
(Edit: I indeed understand that animals should be left in the wild but I am just mentioning human history here) Canadian here. Bears have been know to be friends with man world wide. In the USA there's a couple people who actually have Bears and feed them like this and even hug them. Here in Canada I know of a place with a guy in a trailer home who lives with 4 black bears in the middle of nowherw and they don't eat him. He even pats them and everything they follow him around like pets. All the locals keep him and the location a secret since it's him and his family. It's pretty wild to see but there's a reason for it. Bears are related to dogs and wolves and pretty much any animal can be tamed if you give it the proper love and care. Animals are smart especially bears and many of them can be reasoned with. I've even bumped into a black bear while working and he just didn't even mind I was there I'm pretty sure it's because I made eye contact with him and said hello haha.
That's not a bear comrade that's Ivan our siberian KGB agen... Oh yes that's a bear that's a big bear that will kill any capitalist pig listening/reading to our conversation

LOL ! Oh Butters! You truly know how to think like a predator. 😆
A greater danger is the bear breaking in, and eating your food.

nah there's no vodka
I can't believe someone can have such an encounter and not shit themselves. Imagine how hungry the bear must have been to find the courage to go to a russian to beg for food.
With all these Russian guys with bears im seeing nowadays, I’m convinced bears just universally speak Russian and can be reasoned with
Russians have learned to talk to bears because we are not like that.

Nature has a twisted sense of humor, making a killing machine that adorable.
@JayLeeBeanz don’t forget the 3 inch claws and dagger like teeth…
What do people mean when they say "nature has x", "nature does y"?
@JayLeeBeanz just that they usually aren't joking. They often find these to be genuine insights but then diss you for believing in God.
Wrong. HUMANS ARE THE MAIN KILLING MACHINE.
@JayLeeBeanz It’s okay, I was challenging the original comment. I agree with you - humans, the naked apes, aren’t cute at all.

The way it's eyes are looking around!! What a beautiful beast! 😍 On the other hand I once read a book on bears while working in Resolute bay Canada and for polar bears they casually suggested that you don't approach one unless you're in a helicopter 😂 that window they're feeding it from is at least 3 meters high for the bear to only be able to poke its head!
this is an extremely dangerous and territorial animal here. The bear is lucky to have gotten out alive.
