Good demonstration, thank you. I solved the problem of having the little ends left after tying the top! If you use a much longer piece of wool, it can become part of the tassel itself. No need to use the crochet hook and you get two more strands of wool in your tassel. I’ve made over 100 so far…. Many, many more to make to decorate a marquee!!

I tape each end of the starter yarn to my rectangular object. Your garland is adorable 💚

Cute! Great crafting hack to use the crochet hook to pull yarn thru. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you so much for this tutorial! I watched so many how-to videos for tassels but then couldn’t decide the best way to string them for a garland and your way definitely looks the neatest and cleanest. I’m using embroidery floss for my tassels so they’re small and stringing them on yarn to decorate my car 😆

Thank you I’m making some tassels right now for a Wall Art in plastic canvas For the small tassels 2 fingers 10 wraps for the large 4 fingers 20 wraps work for me when it comes to yarn Just takes some practice like everything else

I recommend using tape for the piece of yarn at the top to hold it down because mine on the first try got tangled up in the tassel. Edit I didn’t see the first comment before mine so don’t come at me for copying

If you pull the yarn from the INNER Center, it won't tangle.
