Facebook has been a source of pain and suffering for me for years. Just another reason to keep using CZcams versus the anguish that exists within Facebook. I have a private group that is over 120,000 people and is pretty much dead right now. I am so glad I transitioned to YT years ago. I use the native Kajabi Community to host community discussion, but admittedly it is not terribly user-friendly.
I hear you. I have lost 4 FB accounts and 2 pages adn 1 group of 120000 - with no way to get back in or retrieve or take back from the hacker. GRRRRRR

Thanks for the update Luria. So we stream to our Church FB page and then others share it to several other groups in smaller communities around eastern Iowa that don’t have church’s close by. I was hoping that streaming to our page we could still get the job done because we’re not streaming directly to the group. I hope that makes sense.😅

I have found Facebook to be confounding, dysfunctional, oppressive, and insufferable for many years now, and I agree that CZcams really needs to step up their community engagement offerings.

Thanks for doing this video Luria. I have seen the info and really need even more clarity, but seems that will come as we get closer to the April date? I'm with you about YT creating more community offerings. That would be amazing. My private FB group... One of my daily posts in the group was taken down by FB because I used the words "share" a photo of your animals in the comments. What??? this is my PRIVATE FB group. how dare they do that!!! I was furious to say the least and now need to try to word my "asks" and reminders with totally different wording. Thanks for always keeping us (your community) up to date with the latest. 😻🐶
And yet they say they cannot police hate speech, bullying and sexual images to teens. SMH

All youtube gotta do is make some sort of group functionality like discord or something, and is game over for all the other social medias lol
The longer I think about it, the more convinced I am that Facebook is playing an increasingly minor role in professional video communication. Young people are massively ignoring Facebook, even in Europe. It's all about Instagram and TikTok now. So, maybe Instagram offers more opportunities with Mark's blessing... LinkedIn continues to focus on live streaming. CZcams is also a more suitable platform where indeed more possibilities for community building are welcome.

Is this for streaming to a Group and not a Facebook Page? Or streaming all together to anything in/on Facebook?

They're shooting themselves in the foot - as FB groups is the ONLY reason people still go to FB over other apps. They are literally killing themselves by doing this !!! AHHHH! Thanks for making this video

I remember FB groups from the '00s ... yeah, putting their own nails in their own coffin. Lovely to watch.
But I we use RTMP on Facebook will work? Not necessary instaling the ECAMM API.
