Karim Zeroual and Amy Dowden Couple's Favourite Jive to You Can't Stop the Beat from Hairspray.
It's the Grand Final of Strictly Come Dancing 2019, as three couples will dance three times in a bid to lift the famous Glitterball Trophy.
First, the judges pick the dances from earlier in the series that they think each couple can improve upon. Next, the couples perform their showdances - no rules, any style. This is their chance to showcase their creativity and dancing skills. Finally, each couple will dance their favourite routine from the series.
Celebrities take to the dance floor to perform a dazzling display of ballroom routines.

I agree I like kelvin but he just kept getting really similar scores all the time and he went to acting school so he possibly would of done a bit of dancing before plus Otis sister is a judge which you know but not hate he still really deserved it and he is still really incredible I still also really like him though

I rarely cry when I watch dancing but this is honestly the best dance Amy has choreographed for strictly
I was iffy about the first time this dance got 40 because I felt it could've been better but today Karim showed that improvement beautifully. The flicks and kicks were all sharp, the spin at the end was flawless this time and it just shows how much he has grown in these weeks! I was rooting for Kelvin to win but honestly would've been just as happy to have seen someone as hard working as Karim lift the glitterball. Brilliant brilliant stuff!

Amazing!!!! He got better with his kicks and flicks. I didnât think it was possible since he did so amazing that first around. They didnât need the background dancers either. Karim, you are a magnificent natural dancer and performer. A brilliant programme. You fully deserved to win but was so generous when Kelvin won. I truly admire your efforts and contribution to Strictly 2019.

@@paddytheladdie Karim is a more natural dancer than Kelvin. Watch them in the opening number on the podiums, Karim does proper dancing and Kelvin just waves his arms around with no rhythm at all lol

MESMERISING, JAW-DROPPING, INSPIRING!! It was definitely one of the best jives EVER!! Both the choreography and the Karim's execution were of a professional competition level! Karim's footwork was absolutely MAGNIFICENT and his hip action during the jive chases was really THE BEST I HAVE EVER, EVER SEEN ON THE SHOW!! It was like watching a true professional ballroom dancer in action. Perfect capturing the essence of the footwork of the jive, TERRIFIC execution and FLAWLESS sense of rhythm and artistry!! This jive had it all!! The incorporation of some ballet steps was STUNNING!! This performance by Karim was the pure majestically gorgeousness of proper ballroom dancing!! He is such an inspiring young man, with a big heart and a sensational dance talent!! Last time I gave him a 10 forb this jive, and once again, it was even more fantastic without the additional dancers... A 10!!!

Well, I was harshly put down by not giving this a 10 last time (9.5 is a good score tho)
But the difference is staggering, the accents are more crisp and staccato and the overall kicks and choreography is much cleaner than a fortnight ago.

My gripe with that is that I don't recognise .5 integers. If you don't think it's a 10 then absolutely fair. But on SCD it's a 9 otherwise đ I didn't see your OP of the quarterfinals so why didn't you think the initial performance was 10 worthy? I just love hearing others opinions cos we all see differently. I was a pro dancer for many years and I couldn't fault his QF rendition of it

Review - Karim has been consistently fabulous all series, energetic, clean prescice and a joy to watch. He is a showman in all his routines and was technically fantastic every week. Especially for being so young he has set a good example and a true art and emotion for dance. He has been fantastic since day one

Love that Karim's last moment on the dance floor was that incredible spin.
After watching this 10 times in a row last night and again just now, I can safely say this was my dance of the series. I don't mind that Kelvin won as he did such an incredible job from a standing start. However, Karim and Amy can rest assured that this dance will guarantee them Strictly Legend Status for years to come! A-Ma-Zing!

Kelvin's showdance was the best showdance ever, hands down.
@@fatherfountain1906 Kelvin's showdance was a clunky mess, it was fast paced and impressive to watch but he severely lacks the style and flair Karim has. When Karim dances he is like Fred Astaire with beautiful lines, everything placed neatly and cleanly, shaping in his arms, extended fingers etc, plus he uses facial expressions and pointing/clapping actions etc to perform which is seen in this jive, all of which makes him enjoyable to watch. No offense to Kelvin but his huge physique make him look like he lumbers around the dance floor with no style or grace at all. If Karim had done Kelvin's style of showdance he would have done it far better.

Kelvin overall likely deserved to be the King of the Ballroom this year, his consistent performances wowed both judges and audiences week in week out and he had arguably the best female dancer in the whole show choreographing every performance and working to his every strength but, this for me is standout performance of Strictly 2018 and more importantly, the best Jive I have ever seen on the show. It is incredible to think that after Jill and Darren made it famous, Jay and Aliona put a Jive down I never thought would be rivalled and whilst watching this performance for the very first time, I turned to my company and said "This is the one that people will always talk about" Karim brought an unbearable amount of personality to the dance to the point where I found myself rooting for him with every step, when his arms go up at the end its kind of a moment of triumph and instinctively I clapped in front of the television. I got lost in his performance. Karim and Amy's Jive is the benchmark now moving forward. I have to agree with those comments that state it is a better dance without the additional dancers and what is truly incredible is that this was danced so shortly after the first performance however, it kind of all felt brand new and fresh. Well done Karim and well done Amy!!
Have to disagree with what you said about Kelvin being the king of ballroom- his quickstep was the only really good one he had imo whereas Karim did an outstanding foxtrot, tango, quickstep and American smooth
Alicia Just to elaborate there I meant there ballroom in general not that he was the better ballroom dancer as opposed to the Latin. What I mean is that despite Karim giving me this jive, overall, on the whole Kelvin was a deserved winner

An amazing jive, best dance of Karimâs and probably the best of the season, though a lot of dances this year have been fabulous. Really great dancer, not the biggest fan of him personally, but I canât deny his talent. Those spins at the end! đ

GREAT JIVE SWIVEL AND AMAZING PEACOCK, THE STANDING SPLIT IS LIKE THE ICING ON THE CAKE AND THEN WE HAVE THE FOUTTEE WHICH WAS ALOT LESS BUMPY THAN THE FIRST TIME. THE MUSICAL ARMS ARE LIKE PERFECTION. THE KICKS AND FLICKS WERE MIND BLOWING. I'M SORRY JAY AND JILL BUT KARIM HAS TO BE ATLEAST IN THE TOP 3 BEST JIVES EVER. I remember seeing this dance for the first time. I'd noticed a pattern. Michelle was in the dance-off in Week 8 and was eliminated the next week, against Saffron, who went out the week after. Saffron was against Karim, so I thought he'd go out the next week (Week 11).

Predictable choice but completely understandable! Love the song choice and this is definitely his dance, still wished he used less of his ballet experience in pretty much most of his dances (his pirouettes and turning C jumps)

Have to disagree. Karim is a trained dancer, both Kelvin and Emma arenât and Strictly is fundamentally about âlearningâ to dance. Karim loves himself too much, he was happy to be praised but the slightest negative comment from the judges showed his petulance and arrogance all over his face! He faked humility and quite frankly loves himself a little bit too much.
Kelvin was the deserved winner; humble, genuine and an all round lovely man.

You can't know what somebody is like from watching them on the telly. However I think the way the other pros and celebs act around Karim is a good indicator that he's lovely in real life. Chris adores him and just look at everyone's reactions when he got his first 40, they went absolutely mad and both Gorka and Graziano came and picked him up. They all love him and if he's as horrible as you say, they wouldn't.
