In this Broadcast Award-winning, BAFTA and Emmy Award-nominated entertainment show, Taskmaster tyrant Greg Davies (Man Down, Cuckoo), with the help of his loyal assistant Alex Horne (The Horne Section and the show’s creator), sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five hyper-competitive comedians.
Comedians that have risked life, limb, and dignity in the hope of making the Taskmaster proud so far include: Frank Skinner (The Frank Skinner Show), Mel Giedroyc (The Great British Bake Off), Romesh Ranganathan (Asian Provocateur), Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered), Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones’ Diary), Rose Matafeo (Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner 2018), and Russell Howard (The Russell Howard Hour). Unaware of what awaits them in each wax-sealed envelope, only one competitor can become the victorious owner of His Royal Task-ness’ golden head and be crowned the next Taskmaster Champion. - Komedie
Things Doc Brown is not:
1. An egg man
2. A fish man
3. A potato man
A bridge man 😆
But he is definitely a pineapple man
Coo coo ca choo.
“You know my eyesight is affected around bridges!” Is one of Doc’s best lines from his time on the show. That and the time he wanted to bring his mum as the prize task but suspected Greg “would’ve cussed out his mum for 10 minutes”
"I would only have cussed her out if she dressed like a common criminal."
"... You would have cussed out my mum for 10 minutes!"
His best line was "that's harsh" after voting to disqualify Joe Wilkinson.
'Impress this mayor' has to be one of the simplest but most creative prompts...
But not as good a Doc’s Nursery rhyme
@@CricketEngland Actually I thought katherine Ryan's nursery rhyme took the edge. But Doc Brown definitely impressed the hell out of that mayor.
Strong lager and Calypos work for me.
I loved Jon. Poor guy just died for 20 minutes
The whole argument on Joe's potato throw was probably his best moment. The vote against him and then Greg revealing he was disqualified. Only for Doc to go "That's Harsh" was just comedic gold.
I think if you analyse the slow-mo...
Would’ve been all rim. 👌🏻😂
@@glockenrein Even that was lyricial
I love how genuinely excited Alex is when Doc calls him "dude"
Edit: 4:57
I love Doc Brown's energy and, as Greg and others have pointed out, he's got a way of words that is just beautifully poetic and lyrical. I could listen to him read the dictionary. Really wish he'd had a few more episodes to showcase his range and humor, because I'd definitely classify him as one of the most underrated contestants the show's ever had.
Doc was great.
How could you not add that time when doc was flirting with the Swedish guy that was my favourite moment from him
which video?
I didn’t know of Doc Brown at all before this show, but now I will always remember him as the man who can’t see bridges.
His analysis of Joe's potato throw was a thing of poetic beauty: "That potato would have been all rim and bounced out."
Even that is lyrical
"That's harsh"
I still get heated over that. Should've gotten the 5.
Hear me out-the potato hit the furthest edge of the hole, if he had been a few centimeters back the potato would have been a perfect swish
Censoring that masterpiece of a nursery rhyme really ruins the magic.
I think it makes it funnier tbh
Look at that. I think they’re censoring the comments, too, because I replied to you earlier mentioning the words they bleeped in the video and now my comment is gone.
@@glockenrein oh no
him playing both sides during the potato toss debacle is a classic play.
not to mention "forget memory lane, i'm traveling down attitude avenue"
after listening to the taskmaster podcast and realising that he really didn't enjoy any of this makes me appreciate how much he still got stuck in and tried because he really seemed energetic on every task.
You could kind of see it in the shows that it didn’t look fun for him, which bummed me out. I loved him in this
did it say why he didn't enjoy it? @hahaha430
@@planegoesnyoooooom It was too much out of his comfort zone
They should have included the "Build the tallest bridge" task... with the sign that had a hint saying "Look under the table." One of my favorite lines of this show from Doc Brown: "You know my eyesight is affected around bridges."
sometimes the fish rap gets stuck in my head and I HAVE to watch it. doesn’t matter what time of day or night
THIS
Preferably uncensored!
He’s literally up there with one of my favourite contestants
5:01 Alex Horne genuinely looked very happy from being called dude lol
After his nursery rhyme he became my favorite of that series.
It has always upset me that this season had the fewest episodes
season 3 as well with both having 5 episodes
He has a fantastic smile. His croupier line always makes me laugh (shame it's not included!).
I loved the flirtatious conversation between Doc and the Swede
I live near the where the bridge task was filmed, and regularly visited there. So I was very confused when Doc didn’t take either bridge.
Sometime you don't see bridges
Doc is an extremely underrated player
“It’s an honour...I guess”
“Well it’s cos I punched that salmon in the face so many times”
It’s such an iconic line
He was in his element with the nursery rhyme task
What a soulful performance. Pure art.
1 2 3 4 5 once I caught a fish alive....... utter brilliant
Even though I have seen all of this, and some several times, it always brings me so much joy.
Didn't know Doc Brown before Taskmaster but he has become one of my favorite contestants and enjoy his stand up
Ever since I watched him sing the tea song at Reading festival a few feet away from him, and laughing like I was going to be sick... not gonna lie, I think I’m a little in love with him (and the shyness behind his confidence is v endearing).
Why WOULD you lie?
what?? It’s just an expression! lol
watched the amazon cinderella movie and Doc was singing on a bridge like walkway and i got worried for him. Who knows what could happen to the Bridge Blind Guy!
Doc then went out to write a children's book called 'I Am Bear'. There's even a music video for it on CZcams
Oh, season 2. I miss it all.
Best series of taskmaster imo
So underrated guys a genius
a legend
sometimes, you don't see bridges
"You know how I know you're not an egg-man? Because you opted to break into an egg with your mouth"
Next three completions I want to see
3. Joe Wilkinson
2. Sian Gibson
1. Russell Howard
Why do I love him
I want a Dave Gorman compilation! I barely see him in these CZcams clips
Doc was great :)
It's a shame that Doc Brown apparently didn't enjoy his TM experience because I thought he came across really well.
Oh, there's a fuckin' bridge over there. Shit.
There's a bridge THERE as well!
5:13 Northala Fields
What, no croupier guess?
He was one of my favourite contestants! So sad he didn't enjoy it 😔
"Once a caut a fish....aliiiive"
Just Richard left now
From what season is this?
The best blunt humor!
That creepy peanut butter "nursery rhyme" Katherine Ryan was singing has got to be some deranged thing her parents made up because that sure as hell isn't a common american one!
It's a real nursery rhyme. She's singing it wrong, but it's real!
She's Canadian.
she’s canadian so maybe it’s just a canada thing
The censorship on this is such a shame.
Doc Brown is not a bridge man.
I love that nursery rhyme so much, but really don’t like the censorship... I’d really appreciate if you’d upload uncensored versions!
@@TetraDax wait but Joe said "shit" in this one

Muetzenfuehrer - In that case, what would prevent them from uploading two versions (one censored, one original)?
The first few series that they officially uploaded on CZcams were censored, but they thankfully switched to the original versions for the rest.
Muetzenfuehrer - Oh yeah, forgot about the demonetizing aspect. CZcams really needs to adjust their Puritan guidelines on language...
why did joe say "nice to see you again"
I just need to know, with the shopping trolley, did any of the contestants got the trolley to the river side they found the letter on?
Yes, Richard Osman threw it across
Listening to Average White Band for Doc tonight
Katy Wix - _Not involved_
Liza Tarbuk - Not involved
Doc Brown - *NEVER ON SCREEN*
When is it on Ch4? Or have they sacked it off
Coming in Autumn, they said. Before lockdown, Alex told us it should start in October. As it happens, according to Alex's wife, Rachel, filming starts today.
Andor
I forgot he was even on taskmaster
6:34 why bother censoring the first two fucks out of three that Doc said in succession in this bit, but not the third? Don't censor these things.
40 years and we still haven't learned how to avoid cutting music when censoring profanity? 😕
Doc singing to the mayor is so damn cringy, it doesn't even matter how good you are at singing, that's always gonna be hard to watch
I think his confidence makes it funny! whereas Jon's hesitance is cringy!
Why his pupils so dilated
