    I use the gardiner extreme 18 and the extreme brushes most of the time, a pleasure to work with. These brushes are more than adequate for maintenance work. I have a super scraper too but that is worth its weight in gold.

    I use the 22 Phantom carbon. Love it! Reaches most gutter heights also so can do it all! Also got the 40 in the back of the van. Used less but beasts the high commercial building windows. (Tom from WCW can send me all they stock! Brilliant stuff!)

    Xtreme 25, ordered a new one a few days ago. Have one from 2011. Still use section 5 and section 4 and half of section 1 of it. Its my main pole for ground level windows. I always carry two poles on big houses. Do a lot of them.

      Yes, most delicate, side impact will break it more easy than other poles. It’s not that they will break because of the weight of a brush. I think a large brush on a fully extended pole (any brand) is not recommended because it basicly does all the weight-saving on the pole undone.

    Nice video. Iv got the Gardiner 18 extreme, which is lighter than the phantom at 800g matched with the ultimate brush it's insanely light. The pole it incredibly stiff and strong worth every penny of the £600,😳

    • @aemackintosh
      @aemackintosh  Před 8 měsíci

      Yes, the Extreme is made with thinner carbon to make it lighter, but it doesn’t last as long as a result.

      @@aemackintosh aye you have to be careful with it, I left mine leant against a wall and the wind blew it over snapped the top section, that thin carbon is almost brittle 😂thankfully I only lost a few inches. 3 years in and it's still going it's nearly lasted as long as the clx's Iv had b4. Iv got an old phantom that I kept as a spare I use it when the wife helps me out and she has the extreme, it's feels so heavy and bendy compared to the Gardiner. I just wish Gardiner would sort their clamps out, the facelift ones seem good cos they don't wear!!! Having said that I think that extreme brush makes a massive difference, they definitely don't last but are so light I can't use anything else now.
