“Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille is a tuxedo kind of scent” I have heard and I laugh because I have wore it to feel cozy before going to bed,and for work at a restaurant in a 90 degrees day here in Miami. My point:If a fragrance makes you feel happy,why not to wear it more often,no matter the setting.
You should think about other people too, it might choke them out in high heat even if it's ok for you personally
@@philipphawk I agree with you,but Tobacco Vanille is not the powerhouse it used to be.On my skin it smells like pipe tobacco for a while and then the smell transitions into a Chai tea kind of smell,no strong vanilla whatsoever.Another under performer is Tuscan Leather,sadly.I have never own a bottle but I remember sampling it 2 years ago and it lasted an eternity.A few weeks ago I got a 2 ml sample when I got my Tobacco Vanille,tested it on my skin and after 3 hrs the scent was almost gone.

@@philipphawk I regret buying my bottle to be honest.I received a 10 ml travel spray from Tom Ford and I fell in love with the smell of Tobacco Vanille right away,did not test it properly and instead ran to my local Neiman Marcus to get a full bottle.Not worth it man.have you tried Blessed Baraka by Initio?.I got a bottle yesterday and it is great.

If I had to buy something from the website it would probably be the 10th anniversary Aventus. Was very surprised to see that there. Thank you for featuring a modern classic fragrance. Ever since getting into fragrances "late in the game" (1-2 years ago) I feel like most CZcamsrs just assume we know all about these types of fragrances. Myself only being in my early 20's, I never experienced the outbreak of Acqua Di Gio, 1 million, or these Tom Fords coming out that were breaking new ground and barriers. I do appreciate when older fragrances are featured. It gives me a better understanding of some of the monumental fragrances that have been here for years that I was too young to be interested in at the time. @@robross180 Anything from 2013 or earlier is vintage. You probably have a reformulated version, but it's still fantastic.
@@The_Fuzz1 Thank you so much for that. It's been in my drawer for quite a while. I didn't really like it much, but yesterday i sprayed it on, and now it's my absolute favourite lol. That's amazing that mine is a reformulation... I am so disappointed... they seem to do this with all the ones i love. I have one called ' by the fireplace' when i first got it... i could smell it through the package... now it doesn't have the same punch, in my opinion. Thank you again... if you know where i can get some vintage tv... please let me know 👍👍

Kinda always wore fragrance and had a few designers I wore 2-3 times a week. I smelled an empty bottle of Tobacco Vanille at the airport and that sparked my fragrance adventure. I was blown away by the smell! Received it as a Christmas gift and the rest is history. Love TV and love Tom Ford’s DNA!! Gonna grab it right now as my SOTN!
I love Tabacco Vanille, and usually wear it when I’m in my Sunday best, but have never gotten good compliments unfortunately, but if I like it, that’s what matters.
Loved the review Steven. Tobacco Vanille is my favorite from the house. I love the Tom Ford dna that is in the base of most of his fragrances. If I was to buy a fragrance from fragranceusa it would be a bottle of Roja dove enigma or tobacco Vanille(it’s a great price on there). Top quality video as always. Keep up the great work.

I’d probably pick up Nishane Ani. That’s a good price! And I absolutely love Tobacco vanille and noir de noir! I haven’t tried Tuscan leather yet. But I’m with you on the other two! I checked out the site and they have a really good selection of fall and winter fragrances at the moment. I've been saving for some time and I think I may finally purchase Herod. I remember the first time I smelled it, I simply couldn't stop smiling. The smiling turned to laughter as I took it in, and I'm a pretty stoic dude. It's just that artfully crafted.
All three you've mentioned of Tom Ford's collection are all masterpieces in their own right as well - I would love to be entered in the giveaway.

I get a strong clove scent which I guess is the Tobacco. Very spicy with vanilla notes for sure. LOVE! 🥰

I love Tom Ford. Perhaps one of my favorite brands. The perfume I would buy from fragranceusa is Nasomatto Black Afgano. I was just thinking about buying it recently. Glad to see they have it.

Tabacco Vanille is probably the most recognizable fragrance from the brand IMO. If I had the money, I would definitely get Carlisle or Black Phantom.

First time I official smelled this was last week. Had to find a Nordstrom in my area. I was very surprised how good Vanille is. So many notes blended into one. Different notes keeper showing up on my skin. This scent evolves over the course it’s worn.Think I would have to get it.

And speaking about fragrances, I really like fragrances and generally mens grooming products including shaving products. So may I ask you something? Which Tom Ford fragrance do you suggest to blend with tobacco vanille? Ombre leather or Tuscany leather?
I like how straightforward their website is. I've been interested in adding something from Parfums De Marly in my collection because I've heard such amazing things about them, notably Carlisle, Percival, and Layton. Though expensive as full bottles, I've decided to get the discovery set I saw on there (doesn't include Carlisle but that's okay-- Herod is included which interests me). Also recommended this fragrance to a friend as he said he loves tobacco and vanilla scents. Hmm, what could possibly have that I wonder. Thank you for all you do!! You've really helped me expand and learn so much about this hobby I started a year and a half ago. Been watching since I started really. Have a great day!

I'd really really like to see more individual Tom Ford fragrances. They have A LOT of choices, and they're a great, great fragrance house. They all to me carry this particular almost powdery substrate that defines them.

One time before going to exam, I quickly stoped at perfume store and applied tf all over me.As I was walking (it was cold winter) ,i could hear people talking behind me: what is this smell? The moment i entered exam room...oh boy, i got asked like 40times what are u wearing? Anyways its a beast of a fragrance and id love to own it (student life). ✌✌ Great video as always.

I see that they have Enigma Parfum Cologne! That'd definitely be my pick since I'm growing more and more guilty going through my edp. TV still a winner years later. I've been experimenting layering it with Roaring Radcliff lately for a slightly sweeter take. Definitely fills it out a bit more. Surprised TF hasn't released an "Intense" or "Extreme" version. One day perhaps?
This was my first private blend and perfume from TF, i think this one and oud wood are just amazing

I love Tom Ford, never had the opportunity to buy from the Private Blend Collection just the regular less expensive line. It's a memorable line with great fragrances. The one I would buy from FragranceUSA is Gran Ballo by Xerjoff. Definitely it's on my wish list. 🤗

I just tried this for the first time and OMG is this the best Christmas fragrance or what! This is really an amazing fragrance that I can actually smell leaping of my skin. Now I know why everyone raves so much about this fragrance! It's amazing how these perfumers are able to get such realistic scents, just blow my mind lol. It so much reminds me of being a child during the holiday season playing Atari with my brother and cousins and while I wait for my turn to play grabbing a potpourri ball and smelling just after my uncle lit up his piped tobacco.
First thing to do when i wake up: watch your new video when i didnt see it at the evening (Germany). I would buy Noir Extreme by Tom Ford I smelled it once and damn, thats some goood stuff
Oud lemon mint sounds like it would smell amazing. I just went to fragranceusa but unfortunately I’m unable to purchase any of those fragrances due to COVID. Not in my budget at this time but I love your videos. Keep up the amazing work 🤗

FragranceUSA do so many but right now I'm looking at picking up Initio Rehab as I've heard it's a higher quality Spicebomb. Also, last time I tried Tobacco Vanille at a TF booth, I thought it was too intense but after watching this, I think I'll give it another try next time.

I'd still buy the tester of Green Irish Tweed from that site. As for Tobacco Vanille, I ended up getting Zara black instead not quite as good i am sure but I like it

So far, Tom Ford wise, I have a 10 ml decant of F---ing Fabulous. Parfums Vintage Oriental Woods doesn't count, but it makes me want to check out Oud Wood.
