- Nikita Kucherov and Steven Stamkos each scored to tie the game, and Kucherov set up Ondrej Palat to score the game-winner with just 42 seconds remaining, as the Tampa Bay Lightning defeated the New York Rangers 3-2 in Game 3.

Kucherov has a cold mind, very carefully and calmly sees where to pass. Both goalkeepers were on top today.

Sportsnet commentary absolutely puts ESPN to shambles. Unbelievable. It's also proof why I've watched SN highlights over NHL ones for the last handful of years. This commentary was on fire.
I haven't been able to stand ESPN / TNT (and even NBC when they broadcasted the games) in the US, I just sync the game with the radio call.

Couldn't agree more. When the commentators aren't busy getting everyone's names wrong, they're saying just utterly stupid things. All the comments about the "kid" line needing a snack on the bench or needing a nap when they looked tired...I've never rolled my eyes so hard in my life.
It's not just better commentary and play by play, but also much better highlights from the game. The NHL does a horrific job with theirs by comparison.
ESPN woke vomitary. I can't stand the women announcers. Haven't heard one yet I can listen to for a whole period. The ladies on NHL network are good but I wouldn't want to hear them do play by play

We are watching 2 world class elite goaltenders today pulling rabbits out of their hats. Both these teams are loaded with talent and dedicated with an objective. This will be a great series. I expect TB to win the next game to....by a roll of a puck.

Fantastic game from start to finish. 2nd period was some crazy hockey with some wild penalties and PP goals. Loved every second of this game!
I really wish I could get the sportsnet broadcast in the states. The ESPN broadcast is impossible to listen to.

It’s definitely a disappointing result given that we were 2-0 up and collapsed, but it’s not the end of the world. I said it after the last game that Tampa would be a different animal at home and that we’d have to work even harder if we were to see victory on the road, and we almost did. If we didn’t concede pretty much straight after we went 2-0 up, I think we’d have held out for the win. Not to mention the fact that we allowed 52 shots on goal which is criminal and just asking for trouble... Igor’s great, but he can’t do it all by himself, our d’men need to put their bodies on the line and block some of those shots next game. If we win the next game and split the games in Tampa leaving us with a chance to win and end the series at home where we’ve been so good and dominant during the playoffs, I think most NYR fans will take that.
It’ll be the end when they have to play the Avalanche!! 😀

Rangers were on their way to locking down the series...up 2-0 halfway thru the second period and Trouba, who has played well, takes a totally unnecessary penalty. The powerplay gets Tampa back in the game and they eventually win a game they were on their way to losing. If this win turns around the series for Tampa, it will be a costly mistake for Trouba and the Rangers.
trouba had 3 penalties..which gave up both goals and killed the rangers penalty.
@@DuffmaneB on the contrary as well kucherov served 6 pen minutes and still ended up with a goal and 2 assists. Not about the penalties it’s about how much of an impact you make despite it. Rangers got held to no goals after their 2 prior

Not a Rangers fan but the way I see it, this was NY's game to win having up 2-0...but they blew it.

I agree, from the time Tampa made it 2-1 they dominated and had Rangers on their heels. To win a game in Tampa will take a full 60 minute effort.
