Scientist Discovered A Lost City Hidden Underwater That Shocked The World
In many corners of our world, particularly beneath the ocean's surface, remain largely unexplored. These submerged regions, once exposed land during the Ice Age, hold potential secrets of our ancient history. In western India, the submerged city of Dwarka was once a vibrant port, strategically positioned at the confluence of the Gomti River and the Arabian Sea. It served as a fortified stronghold and a bustling center for trade and cultural interaction. What mysteries might be hidden beneath the waters of Dwarka? Join us as we uncover these mind-blowing discoveries awaiting us in these forgotten depths of our world
In the far west of the Saurashtra peninsula in Gujarat, India, lies the ancient city of Dwarka. This place is a mix of myth, spirituality, and historical urban development, where tales of gods mingle with those of ancient trade routes. The city is thought to be part of a vast area, some 27 million square kilometers in size, which was dry land during the Ice Age but is now covered by the sea. This is a dramatic reminder of how powerful nature is, capable of transforming vast stretches of land into ocean floor.
Dwarka’s location by the meeting point of the Gomti River and the Arabian Sea once protected it from invaders while also boosting its role as a busy port. This strategic position helped not just in defending the city but also in making it a hub for trade and cultural exchange, impacting regions far beyond its shores. However, despite its historical and strategic importance, Dwarka and places like it are often neglected in the grand narrative of history. They get little attention, popping up briefly in discussions only when enthusiasts and academics venture outside the usual focus of their studies. Their work is important but tends to be overshadowed by more mainstream historical interests that dominate research funding and public attention.

There is only one tale Dwarka was a great city over 7,000 years ago...with another city and pyramid complex under then ocean south of Florida in an area last above water 11,000 years ago. Pretty advanced for sticks and stone cave dwellers.
