Too much trouble making a DIY cooler with plastic storage box. Use Styrofoam box instead. Make 2 holes, one for inlet air (mini fan) and one for outlet air (a 3 inch pvc elbow would do) on the cover of the box. Put ice blocks inside and its done.
I can see the steam of ice coming out of the fan. I doubt if the steam can condense on the fan wings and it can leak into the motor unit through the shaft of the fan wings. But nice work.
All you’re missing is taking temperature without ice in the bucket and temperature after putting ice in the bucket and see the difference in the degrees the fan will cool you.

Why does the fan have to be attached to the plastic box. If one had longer exhaust tubes, one could probably place the fan in front of the box or to the side?
