- BNSF's Orin Subdivision is 130 miles of double, triple and even quadruple mainline track in the middle of Wyoming's Powder River Basin. Both BNSF and UP trains operate over this line as they haul coal out of the many coal mines along the route. With coal trains weighing in a range of 17,000 to 22,000 tons, they struggle across the unforgiving, undulating territory that sees grades up to 1%. Enjoy the sights and sounds of EMD and GE prime movers hauling Wyoming's black diamonds.

Very nice action from the Basin! (Dave).
super video bro ❤❤❤❤
The telephoto shots are amazing!
Super nice video of trains hard at work. I loved watching your video. I’m a toy trains person 82 years old. I never tire of watching toy or the real thing. Thanks for this magnificent video.
This was awesome to watch! One of my bucket lists of places to visit!
Thanks airing and sharing the outstanding video with magnificent locomotives. Awesome catch though. Railfanning effort is prominent. Bliss
the basin looks busier than i thought it would be. great shots.
That was awesome video. It's cool to see how much space you have out west to run train on. Compared to metro Atlanta and Georgia.
Awesome extra long trains.
Great videos. How do you find out the train codes for what is passing by?
Work for the railroad or have an extensive knowledge of the trains in your region.
It all makes for great railway photography but sadly not helping the warming planet. 🤔🤓
