In another universe far far away after releasing maladroit, Instead of releasing Make Believe as the follow up they released Homecoming in 2004.
I came across this collection of tracks from-

And I absolutely loved it so I downloaded the mp3 and spent my morning cutting it up into it's track listing format
The Cover I got here was just a Weezer live cover from awhile back in another country, I wanted to find a cover that could substitute for a real weezer cover that not a lot of people have seen.
(DISCLAIMER: Its not my intention to take anyones views or subscribers I just wanted to make this into something fans can download with the cover art and all that jazz attached)

Also again I wanted to address the fact that the original uploader was the one who put the original track listing together, I don't think he meant to but this is one of the best experiences with a weezer album by far and its great to hear weezer put together genuinely great music even if it is just b-sides

Any chance you can update the Google drive link to the album?
The only reason this couldn't be the actual cover for Homecoming, would be the fact that Matt Sharp wasn't in the band anymore at that point.

Closest recordings to their heavier live sound imo
Rivers is the real deal.
Maybe it’s because they’re just demos, but the rough/raw sound gives the songs a lot more life.

I love Rivers vocals on a lot of these. Sounds very Bluerton era before he took singing lessons and ruined his vocal style.
ya i can't stand the real high pitched vocals in a lot of green ewbaite and white especially, just hurts my ears more than anything. don't get why rivers ever thought it was a good idea especially since he's clearly still capable of what he did on blue and pinkerton
It’s not necessarily his singing lessons but mostly how over produced the vocals have become

i really love the chorus of mansion of cardboard though. the song feels like your average early weezer song and maybe skippable compared to others and then suddenly it hits me with that
I believe that if this was released then it would have been up there with blue and pinkerton, it definitely is for me. I think I would put it at #3 or #2 out of all of their albums (if it was released).

Green was so boring. Pinkerton, Blue, EWBAITE, White, and Maladroit are their best albums, in that order.

Everyone of course is going to have their own opinion, but green was just okay. The only song from it I still regularly listen to is Glorious Day. Maladroit on the other hand is light years far and away the best post-Pink album for me. I know I just said the whole opinion thing, but if you don't give that album at least *A LITTLE BIT* of credit, I am 100% convinced you either haven't listened, or are just being stubborn/snobbish/a troll. That being said, EWBAITE, White, and even Red are pretty damn good too IMO.

@@loganbigoni9019 This would've come out after Maladroit, so White and EWBAITE wouldn't have come out yet. But you're right, Weezer has had some great albums other than Pinkerton and Blue. I think White gets slept on, personally. 'Endless Bummer' has gotta be one of their best closers ever. Up there with 'Only In Dreams', 'Long Time Sunshine', and 'Butterfly'
Also, I think Songs from the Black Hole has been a bit over-romanticized. It's a cool concept, but Pinkerton is such a masterpiece so I can't really complain that Weezer went in that route instead.
Pinkerton and the sadly unreleased Songs From the Black Hole are leagues above this imo, but to each their own.
