They filmed a lot of this video on my dads farm in the lake district. Was told that I had met them after I had recognized buttermere lake in the video and showed my mum. I was a baby at the time lol.
Grew up to love their music 👍
What country? City?

Unbelievable how certain songs can trigger so many fantastic memories of great times!
I remember this maybe about drugs at time it came on radio in my first car
Absolutely my friend 👌
@@jamespatrick8642 you’re probably thinking about Eberneezer Goode famously number one during BBC drug awareness week.
Was 15 when this came out. School kid in Watford who always got a boost in happiness listening to this song.
Back in the day I always thought that The Shamen were always going to be the future of music. They always seemed to be one step ahead of the mainstream. still love listening to them.
Her voice is just incredible! So good. Pre autotune!
Search Jhelisa - Friendly Pressure
YOU'RE beautiful....
Jhelisa Anderson
Totally addicted to this classic!
Three is the Trinity!
The Delta Lady is Mary Magdalene!
C ' MON!!!!!
This song brings back wonderful memories in the UK.
The Shamen were great from the start but Jhelisa's strong vocals really add an extra something to the songs! I know Ebeneezer was their biggest hit but I rate this and Phorever People as their best records. Classic early 90s dance pop, happy times!
Destination Eschaton. Beast of a song!
Shamen phenomenal band & been fan for decades! Keep enjoying the Seismic Shamanic Shenanigans! Peace ✌️🌍🙏
I like most of their tunes, but i think Boss Drum was their best then Ebeneezer, but i like em all
To me it's this or Move Any Mountain.
Mr C was just incredible too.
another great legendary hit of this band, to shake the hips and the soul, impossible not love this so cool style, !EXTRAORDINARY¡.

The harmonies on this are just perfection
The hooks and riffing in this is unreal.

*Awesome song! When this came out in 92 I was a 22 yr old who loved dancing at the club. My hangout was called 'Down the Hatch' known locally as "The Hatch"'. When this song was played the dance floor would fill up! Good times......* ✨🎶🎶🎶

Best Scotland Band!!!👑
Classic of the classics
In some of my workings, I still incorporate the lyrics from this song:-
"LSI define the pleasure principle
To make mind body soul invincible
LSI getting high like adrenalin
Pure as diamond - cool and crystalline"
It's a secret I've never told anyone at work, but I invoke the last two lines as I begin each day.
She is lovely!

Great Scottish band!!!
90s music ❤
That bass. Man!
This tune would start buzzin' in me head Thursday afternoons, knowing it was Friday the next day & then the question - where are we going for the weekend.
Looking back, to be honest, I think I loved the Friday build up better than the weekend.
The uncertainty, anticipation, excitement. My work desk was cleared, everything done, phone up all the difficult clients - I was invincible, I could negotiate, apologize & sell adverts in the Cumberland News.
No drugs, Beers yes, poppers yes, I was an innocent clean living lad - with a few vices, I would cook tea for me mates, then tunes on, bottles opened, showers, ironing, shaving & either Carlisle or Newcastle, might visit Workington or a hotel in Blackpool.
If local it was always start at the Dive, Caledonian, Sportsman's, Howard Arms (sometimes), Boardroom then back to the Dive. Now & again down Botch to the Turkish kebab shop for a proper Shish kebab.
Then home, lovin' it, then Saturday starts & the phone calls - what's for tea? Then plan Saturday.
Cannot believe those days have gone.
Happy memories.
Miss you D & rip Bud.
Good times!❤🍻💪
Good vibes Love The Shamen😍
Musica moderna p época, tinha 15 anos , amo❤

Just loaded this cd onto my mobile been playing the album for the last few days, great memories of the early 90's! :-) I'm getting old, (36 in May!) :-(
Ye you are 36 God you only got another 40 years left until your out this body for good. Your so old and intelligent. Lol jokes don't take it serious change your thoughts and then you will change your mind reality
Jack Harris I hope I'm not around for another 40 years!........ :-)
+Jack Harris Kirk Douglas is 99.
The early 90's had some classic dance music. The Shamen, The Future Sound of London,808 State, Massive Attack and even Portishead in a less energetic way!

Wow, I haven't seen it since it was hot on MTV, in 92-93. Damn, what a gem!
D&D druid class in the nineties. Stoners, all o' 'em.
Saw this video projected onto a wall in maripins bar in ibiza back in the 90s. Happy days 😀
Lo mejor..
This is soo 90s
Sad when people think that you've done a lot of drugs for listening to music like this and from this era.. I really never did, i had two little kids and in any case it was the music that got me high.. smoked an occasional good herb sometimes,..but that was nothing related to the music i listened to.. I get high on music, with or without any substances.
I did.
LoveAge I believe you honestly 🙂🙃🙂🙃🙂
Hollie Brannan ...the biggest "drug" in the world is music...it's just the way it is..
You write like you are puddled though.
LoveAge sadness- enigma
I was eight when this was a hit. Still remember dancing to it in Zimbabwe
Christian the Neck
Until Mugabe told you to turn it down
Thanks for this. Love this band. This track inspired me to mix rockabilly and trance on my latest track. jR
Jimmy Ray

"The video has been upscaled to HD..." And forced into a widescreen format, so that everyone looks stupidly weird :)
Love this song. The whole album is great.
Thanks for explaining why this video seems cartoonish in contrast to my impression of it on MTV in decades past.
I heard this song in 97 at a club that was for teenagers. I wasn't old enough to get into an official club. I remember running to the DJ booth to ask who this was. He held up the cover. I would request this every time I went....ahhhh fantastic memories
Shamen days were the best 😎
the synthpads in this are lovely
This is exactly what I do on every solstice. It's tradition. We all dress up like extras from Return of the Jedi and eat some acid.
Lol
What do you think the actual extras from Return of the Jedi do to celebrate? Probably the same...
