I once played Russia and fought against Ukraine for 2 years since the very start of the game, but he took advantage of his mobile troops and aerial superiority to continually snipe my artillery and bombard my troops, we were locked in a stalemate. Then Uzbek joined the war with his newfound power and mobile tanks, I was taken by surprise and managed to halt his advance through scorching and entrenchment, but barely. Uzbek kept spawning wave after wave of tanks, swiftly capturing my cities to burn them and retreat before I could prepare a response. So my tax dipped, stability dipped and economy dipped (plus the huge financial strain of the Ukraine war). I made peace with Ukraine, but with Uzbekistan I knew it was only a matter of time before my money would run out and my defenses would break to his mobile tanks, so I surrendered (I had to go outside to play). This is why I don't like playing powerful countries, you have a lot of weak spots where the enemy can attack you from and defending all that is expensive. Anyway, this was part-story-part rant about how mobility is OP.
Yes, but I suggest using forts no matter what even if there’s only 10 k infantry there it halts their attacks, mobility is def op in surprise attacks and yeah 👍
@@apleb101 oh yeah I forgot to mention I was overconfident in my ability to speedrun Ukraine, and committed a lot of blunders early game cause I underestimated my opponent.

@@chad2522 nope, I've been playing the game since late 2021 (without any tutorials or HOI4). Ive just gotten so accustomed to playing small countries that I forgot how to play the big ones
@@the_quietobserver So it's still a skill issue. If you just get decent tech and train troops with good support you can steamroll every single player in the server.
