A bit of a different video for today, I picked five of my favourite bass solos by the one and only Lemmy Kilmister of Motörhead and compiled them in to a sort of 'Top 5'.

FYI: I know about the date mistake on the "No Remorse" release.
I know it’s a mistake, but just imagine the reaction to Motörhead in 1884. XD

Keep us on the Road has the best solo ever played, it's far harder than Stay Clean, and deserves more recognition honestly, you nailed a lot of these solos though, great job!
Planning on doing a sequel to this video when I finish my break from CZcams though sadly I no longer own this Rick copy.

I really want to play the bass, I just love the sound of it and the way it feels, the weight the size, everything, but I also don't want to be the barely audible guy strumming one string in a band. If I ever played I'd want to play like Lemmy, Cliff and Flea. You inspired me for sure and I might just pick it up, but I'm uncertain of future prospects.

it depends of you, you can be the guy that nobody notices but you can make the bass sound that evrybody notice it. you even can compose songs with bass presence, bassically you can be th guy that play what th guitarrist compose and play in a guitar driven band or can be involved in composition and make your bass be fundamental in your band sound, the most common problem that bass is not notice is in bands where the bassist plays around guitar and dont gt too much involved

Motorhead Greatest band ever) what bass you play?
This was a Rocktile bass, a pretty cheap Rickenbacker imitation. It takes a fair bit of digital amplifier manipulation to create this tone, the bass alone will not do it.

Is this bass good? is it worth the price?
The Rocktile? Its OK at best, its cheaply made but it does the job. If you’re looking for the Motörhead sound out of a bass forget it, it comes from the amps - not the bass.
