It absolutely breaks my heart listening/watching this video. I remember the very first time I saw them back in 2003 I believe. No one knew who they were, they had just debut in the US and they toured with Incantation. They played in one of the best venues at that time (L'amours) in BK NYC. Absolutely NO ONE expected to see one of the best death metal acts of all time. Decapitated had been fiercely praised and talked about after that show. They completely stole the show that night and shot up in popularity instantly. Nyc would never forget them after that. And neither would I. It truly is tragic what happened to them, but they will always be legends to our community. 🤘🤘❤
They had a crash in 2007, the drummer died, and the singer got injured, some mistake happened and he went into a coma and now he's paralyzed and in a wheelchair.
