I was so close to visiting South Korea and Japan at one point. I was creating my Motion Capture portfolio and in late 2015 I was in contact with Capcom about the facial likeness role of Leon for the Resident Evil 2 Remake. I failed to mention I also have a voice acting background, in the end I lost the part and I can't forgive myself for wasting such an opportunity. That would've been a real dream come true to visit South Eastern Asia.

@@user-dh3xj7il9d Yes, you're right. Sorry about that. I've never wanted to be the guy who doesn't have a few spare moments to check the correct and accurate definition of a region. I remember playing Street Fighter 4 a lot and the locations based on South Korea and Japan are described in this game as 'South East Asia'. Thanks for the feedback.
@@jeonjungkook-lo9lb Yes, I did post it in more than one place...and I'm glad I did. Thanks to that, I've talked with some amazing people who helped me put that regret in perspective. I've made a big mistake while being in contact with Capcom and in this business one audition can change your life. I use my story as a cautionary tale for ppl, and I even gave some of them some acting/voice acting advices that I hope will be useful to them. Where's the harm in that?
@@AnxMa I didn't know about this, I thought you were spam commenting or you could be a scam. I've seen repetitive comments in the past before, and always thought they were weird and creepy. But yours was different and had meaning so I was curious of why you were doing this, sorry if it came off rude in any way, I didn't mean to do so. I'm glad you've talked to people about this and most likely felt better afterwards :)
@@jeonjungkook-lo9lb It was a completely right question on you part. The thing is; losing an audition like that is a painful thing and talking with people from all around the world, exchanging stories and experiences really helped getting it off my chest, sort of closure.
