I have multiple user table which is connected to a fact table lets say dim_user1 connected to fact table on case created by dim_user2 connected to fact table on case completed by. when i use RLS it is taking all the dim_user table into consideration and doing a inner join, even if one of the dim table is not used in the report. how to handle this?
I have created two RLS for two different groups of users, for the first one it's filtering on one table, it works perfectly, for the second group of users it's filtering on an other table and it's not working. Any idea about this issue?
Hi Kahan, do you know about dynamic RLS? I have 1 thousand user on my dashboard and I cant use static RLS.
My first thought is to set RLS by *groups* instead of individual *users*. Ex. Azure Active Directory groups, or something similar.
I noticed that you created the role directly in the database. Won't that be overridden when you deploy the model from Visual Studio?
Never mind, I just saw your video on roles where you answer this.
Hi Kahan, I have followed same way but it's not working , viewer still can see all data, please any idea how can I resolve this?
