Omg the future Mayor 🤣 I'd put money on it that he's lived there his whole life, a legit mountain man. Breckenridge is gorgeous, I live about an hour and a half from there and enjoy going in the summer (I'm a CO native and I HATE the cold & winters). Surprisingly, there's a really good Cajun restaurant there! I hope you had a chance to go see Isak, the big troll! He's pretty cool.
If you have the time Michael, it would be interesting if you can do a winter version of the same tour. Maybe during the Holidays, to see your Family. Love your walking tours!

Actually I enjoy doing the walking tours and I don’t feel out of place doing them. It’s the vlogs and chronicaling the trip and showcasing that is what really makes me feel out of my element
It was so great to see Breckinridge again. Our middle daughter lives in Boulder & the first time we visited was 15 years ago & she took us snow skiing & we loved it. Was my first time snow skiing & had so much fun. So glad you got to see it. Colorado is beautiful!
Anthony. I am so glad you got out of Denver and into the mountains. The Denver area suburbs are beautiful when you get out of the downtown area as I live in a suburb of Parker and there are also places like Littleton and highlands ranch and castle rock that are amazing. Love it. Not many people hang out in downtown Denver. Although there are nice areas downtown that you did not see. The homeless situation is getting bad in every major big city mostly due to COVID. You are in Breckinridge now and that is about 50 miles north of where I have my mountain property near Buena Vista. It’s also beautiful there beyond compare. I love Breckinridge also and go there often. However to afford a home or property you need to get to other areas such as Hartsel or Buena vista or Salida You have to come back and visit more and explore. I have lived in colorado for 30 plus years and have not seen everything. Summer and winter here down around Denver suburbs and in the mountains is amazing. It’s cold sometimes but when the sun comes out even in the winter it warms up comfortably. Most people head to the mountains in the summer to cool off. Please come back Anthony. Colorado and Florida are my favorite places.
Me too Bob Denver was definitely not my favorite place I visited on this road trip. But I would like to come back to Colorado and see more of the natural beauty it has to offer

I especially love how you take the time to stop and look at the flowers....and that home with the birches in the front yard! Wow! I like that you change up the content of your videos. I love Breckenridge! I’ve been there 3 times during Thanksgiving & stayed there twice. It has a lot of historic buildings on Main St. it’s beautiful during the holidays- it’s decorated & looks like a Christmas movie. I want to visit during summer.
@@MichaelBordenaro It most definitely was. Have had the great fortune of living in a large number really nice areas throughout the US. You are headed to CA as I understand and lived in several areas there over a 20 year period of time as well.

Yes, Breck is very beautiful when it snows! And, some of the Main Street buildings are from the early gold mining days. We once lived there when Peak Eight was the only ski area…and Breck only had one stop light in town. 😅 I loved your video…especially pointing out details that some others miss. Enjoyed the conversation with the local “wannabe mayor”guy! 👍 In spite of the “upscale” crowd you’ll still see colorful characters like him. 😊
Take the drive down Highway 1 (Big Sur) to Hearst Castle. Awesome drive. Tour Hearst Castle & go to Solvang. Good food & atmosphere. Danish Community. Also, to Santa Barbara & Isla Vista. Recommend downtown Santa B. good eating & drinking places. From there either Las Vegas or LA.

Oh yeah I would highly recommend anyone to visit here at some point just to check it out even if you don’t ski. Living is pretty much impossible for most

Love these vids but Breckenridge is just as bad as Denver or Boulder (if you REALLY want to experience some BS!), just at a different scale. More poverty & homeless in Denver and more wealth and up scaleness in Breckenridge. Breckenridge reminds of my own Bar Harbor maine, or maybe Carmel by The Sea, CA...which I guess you'll be visiting. In any event, Michael...Love the vids and, as far as content goes...KEEP ON DOING WHAT YOU'RE doing!!!! All interesting. All informative, and ALL helpful in making decisions about how we might all deal with what might/may be coming down the road...politically speaking..."and stuff like that"! Way to go Bro. Loving the walking tour. Absolutely gorgeous there in Breckenridge. It would be fabulous in the winter time. What has been your favorite scenic road so far? I think because you work out regularly, you probably are not feeling the elevation so much. The part of Maryland I'm in is close to DC, Maryland, and Virginia; and, this about 1.5 hours from the fresh air of West Virginia mountain air. So I know what you mean by fresh air of the mountains, nice and crisp. I'm not a skier, but I could appreciate the mountains and quaint town of Breckenridge. Like you said, the Haves and the have nits seems to separate our cities and our small towns. We have to Pay to Play. LOL I believe you are doing OK with the content mixing up. Trying to satisfied your viewers, is good. You know your audience better. I'm probably in the minority, I enjoy learning of the different places and seeing the nature. I see the beauty of the places and how you relate it back to Florida. Enjoy and thanks for sharing.
It was an awesome little place to be for a few hours that’s for sure. I have to say taking I 70 through the Rocky Mountains was definitely the most scenic but also the scariest and most dangerous too! I don’t know how people can do it in the winter time I would be terrified. I didn’t think of that but you’re probably right since I’m in pretty good shape I didn’t feel much with the altitude change. That fresh mountain air is the best!!
Walking Tour vids are awesome! As far as content overall, comparison videos and your past, deeper life advice and help is welcomed as well. As far as VLOGS, my advice is do what you want to do and are comfortable with. The point is enjoy what you are doing, otherwise it becomes a JOB away from a JOB. You are looking for another avenue, to make a living doing something you enjoy. Just my two cents.
I totally agree Michael. I guess the struggle is that since I’m doing such an epic journey it’s hard not to record some of it but at the same time it’s tough for me to put those into videos that I’m not really used to making. I like CZcams to be fun so I’ll probably be sticking mostly with walking tours and comparison videos on the trip with a couple vlogs👍

Winter temps went to 30 below when I lived in Colorado and Utah.
That is absolutely FREEZING! The coldest I remember it getting when I lived in IL on year was -20

Looks very quaint, but I see people wearing jackets and it’s summer. Yikes, I bet it gets dam cold in the winter.

You have no idea about isolation till you live there for a period of time. I had no idea even, not even the faintest clue until I lived there.
