I just need someone to tell me why Lala was gunning for Ariana before the season started. I get folks keep saying she isn’t jealous but that is how it come across. I’ve seen nothing to show why she hates her so much

I think Lisa, Scheana and Lala planned to call Katie out prior to the reunion. Katie vented to Lala about the situation in confidence and Lala threw her under the bus. I really do hope this doesn't affect Ariana and Katie's friendship moving forward.
I kind of understand what LaLa meant about playing the 'game' for 10 years (doing her job) which entails following the most authentic version of them, especially the drama but Katie is right. LaLa doesn't have the right to determine how people navigate their trauma and what their healing looks like. I think Katie is really hurt. It looks like the end of this dynamic. The friendships are broken. I didn't like Brock's sexist outbursts this season but he does appear to be a very good father and I hope he soon gets access to his young children in Australia. Sandoval is never going to hold himself accountable. The damage is done.

As a mom the ex needs to try to facilitate a bridge between the dad and kids. He is trying and the mom could have met up in Australia with him prior to a meet up with the kids. It’s about the kids first
Also to add to that I am divorced and co parenting is the hardest thing but my children come first and their relationship with both mom and dad are important to me and my ex
No, as a mum the ex needs to protect her children and their boundaries over a man that abandoned them. He chose his path so her kids have every right to choose their own paths and if it means without him, then that’s that. He also abused their mum. So expecting the victim of abuse to bare the burden and facilitate anything for this crocodile teared sook, is ridiculous.

I really agree with your stance on the VPR cast. I’m so over the aggression from the fan base. The thing is, everyone on that show (besides the Toms) has valid feelings and points their making even though those feelings and thoughts may be contradictory to another cast members or contradictory to a stance they have made in the past
Every comment you made about children of separated, parents needing to see both parents and the parents not making it about themselves and putting the child first is 1000% correct.
Here’s the thing with Brock, he has been on the show a few years. We don’t know the little details! Like when was the actual last time he saw them. A few years ago he told Lala it was 4 years, so that’s 7 years ago really. If they are early teens, then he left when they were little. A woman has to explain and dry the tears of the kids whose parent abandoned them. He had a DV charge that later got dismissed, that does not make for a good guy in the eyes of his ex! That women is protecting her kids from a man who walked out, he could have cleaned up his mess before Scheana came into the picture! His other kids are preteen or teenagers! And if the kids don’t want him around, they have the option. His ex does not know the Brock we are seeing on tv! Abandonment issues run deep, and that’s what Brock did, PERIOD! They will come around eventually but the boundary is up and needs to be respected!

They didn’t have a good relationship. It was shown. They stayed together because they were a brand together and it was convenient. LaLa is stating facts on this.
The reality is that we don't have both sides of the story as far as Brock and his kids go. Unless we're going to get information from the kid's mother on what the reality of the situation is, we really can't know
I thought Brock slapped his ex wife and her parents pressed to file the restraining order.. that’s why she took the kids away from them. From her perspective she sees him as a terrible person. If she doesn’t feel safe around him, how could she feel safe with her kids around him. He should have stayed in Australia and worked on those relationships. How does she know he’s shown growth when he’s not there to prove it?

I had my own thing, my 15 year old girl is forever grateful that I never bashed, nor kept her from anything, despite what he did to me! You can't deny your babies of a father that wants to be one 😢

My goodness, some of these comments are just so hurtful and I don’t understand how people can judge others so negatively and they don’t even know these people personally. We are just given a glimpse of these reality stars and these things are so edited that we don’t know the real picture. I love your take on things Zack. I wish we all could look at both sides of the stories and not jump on the bandwagon on who is the fan favorite at the time.
I don’t know about you, but my moral fiber gives me the ability to make my own determination about who is moral and treats people with respect.

Brock's first two kids are not young - they're older teenagers & he's clearly been absent since they were young because of DV & moving to foreign countries.
He chose himself over paying child support & being on the same continent. Don't blame the parent who actually did the work of raising them, paying for their needs & being reliable + present. Brock clearly has regrets - but too little too late it seems. You're assuming or projecting WAY too much onto the mother of those kids he abandoned without any supporting information. Australia & NZ has a huge issue with DV in cis het relationships & the justice system doesn't favour women either.

Are you sure Brock’s kids are young? Didn’t he have them when he was like 19 or some young age? He’s like 30’s. I think the kids are old enough to refuse visitation when they are of a certain age, but who knows how their mother has spoke about Brock.
I'm sure I would be angry if my dad hit my mom, left the country, never paid child support, got married to a reality star, had another kid and then went on tv and talked about it. Maybe once they are older, they will want to meet him, but tweens and teens are already over emotional with raging hormones. Imagine throwing all that in the mix.

If you're absent for essentially your kids entire childhoods & they don't remember you or know you - they're not going to be interested in getting to know you as teenagers, if ever. He has never been reliable in any sense to them. To see him on a reality show with a do-over family in another country adds insult to injury. Brock clearly has a lot of genuine remorse about the situation - as he should, he was selfish for a long time. He prioritised his dreams of playing rugby & NFL over parenting.
Well at least he can pay his child support now and should no longer be behind in payments 😂😂😊😊
Apples and oranges, both Stassi and Katie said that Kristen complained to them every day about Carter, and they would sympathize with her because they loved her, and Kristen kept bitc**** about how he didn't help her pay bills, and how he was using her, and then she wanted to bring him around them all the time like everything was fine, when they couldn't stand him for what he did to her and that was constant, that's the big difference!
Both Katie and Ariana have a responsibility to their castmates and the show to be honest about the conversations that they have with each other That may have been the best part of the show all season if they had just let it be
As far as Brock and his kids go, I think he left it too long. He owed money for too long, he left them and went to America. I don't know how old the kids are but I think they need to be able to see their real father. I know it's hard but they might resent their mother later in life.

I believe the kids expressed not wanting to see him. I think it's unfair to assume their mum is speaking badly about him. She doesn't have to. The kids are almost teenagers and know what's what. They also know the narrative Brock sprouts isn't the whole truth or the way it played out. They are in a good family home, they love the man who is raising them. And their mum has made it very clear it's up to the kids if they want to see him or not and they chose not to. Should she force them? It's great that Brock accepts he made mistakes and has changed and is able to be an awesome father to Summer. And hopefully over time, if he continues to provide support for them and continues to try to make contact and leaves that door open and doesn't trash their mother who has been there for them always, the kids might change their mind and they can all be one big happy family. But let's not blame the mum. This is all on Brock. And unfortunately sometimes no matter how much we regret something or are remorseful, there are consequences for your actions. And if you are truly sorry then you just keep trying until...

Brick’s children being young may have little to no memories of Brock and to them he’s a stranger. My sister is going through the same thing where her two children are almost teens haven’t seen their Dad since he moved to Australia over 8-9 years ago and although he’s offered to pay for them to go over they are not keen as he’s like a stranger to them. I think ultimately it should be up to the children whether they wish to see him and he may end up having to wait till they are ready and that probably won’t be till their much older

I've watched VPR from the beginning. I have NEVERRRRR liked Katie nor have a cared for Ariana. Lala called Katie out for her flip-flopping ( two-faced) . I feel bad for Ariana for being cheated on, but you lose them the way you got them. Yes, TS is an asshat and she absolutely doesn't have to talk to him . Thank you for a mature take on Brock and his children. The person who made that comment was dead wrong.

I’m a single mom. My ex makes plans and cancels all the time. I still think it’s important for my kids to make this decision about their father. I think the kids will grow up and be angry at their mom when they see this.

Brock stated a few years ago his ex remarried and the kids consider him Dad now. Brock left the damn country and abandoned them, their step dad is who they call dad. Brock stated he respected that and let them be. I think Scheana has pushed Brock to pay off the child support and try to get a relationship with them, which is great, Scheanas dad abandoned her and she considers her stepdad “her father” It’s messy but his ex has given the children the choice and they want the boundary! The ex sends Brock school pictures and has open communication, she is over her angry stage with him, the kids will reach out when they are ready!

I've gone from liking Lala to a big dislike. She is so unpleasant, not only to listen to but to watch. She can't speak a sentence without shouting and cursing and accentuating words where the emphasis is wrongly placed. She flares her arms all around and practically points her fingers in your eye.
