Your scare... 😭😭😭 I miscarried at 7 weeks recently. I had the tee tiniest spotting I wasn’t even concerned. But on ultrasound the baby was measuring 8 days behind and HR was only 75. I ended up miscarrying a few days later. It’s devastating. I had no idea how much I could love someone I never met. 💔 I’m so thankful your baby is ok.

A wive's tale is that if you don't have that "glow" that means you're having a girl because she's taking some of your beauty. Although you still look gorgeous to me, soooooo....
They also say that if you have really bad morning sickness it’s a girl and if your morning sickness is moderate it’s a boy

I had a miscarriage last March at 11 weeks. It was heartbreaking, killed me inside and made me feel like I was a failure as a woman. I’m glad everything was ok for you guys in that spotting scare. I hope your pregnancy continues to go smoothly and healthy!❤️❤️

We had a miscarriage last year and pregnancy has been a very sensitive topic for me. But for the first time in a while it seems happy and wonderful the idea of being pregnant and I’m so happy for you!!

When you started talking about your scare in the shower I started crying because I related so much! The same thing happened to me but I was only 6 weeks and you’re right! It makes you realize how much you already love your baby! Girl I can’t wait till you see his/her little face for the first time because it is the most life changing thing 😭 The only way I can describe it is like the climax of a movie where there’s a clear distinction of your life before and after that moment! It’s the most surreal experience and it’s so crazy that it’s so common, yet so miraculous 🤍

Honestly, that advice is perfect at any point in pregnancy. I’m 32 weeks and have to constantly remind myself that it’s okay to rest and take it easy 💛 Growing a baby is hard work on the body!
Kristin I am sure you’ve gotten this a million times but it just clicked in my head that you look so so so much like Dolly Parton when she was young! Your cheerful eyes and nose and lips especially!!

Yeah I thought I was 110% prepared for a baby. I grew up practically raising my sisters, love babies and kids, had every baby things we could imagine and I was SO ready for him to come...then he got here and it was a rude awakening😂 nothing could prepare me for the emotional stress of having your own baby. It’s harder than you can imagine

The never ending mom-guilt, the worry, the post partum hormones, the sleepless nights, the breastfeeding struggles, way too much googling, comparing yourself to other moms, unsolicited advice...... and then... we do it all again 🤣 because how can anyone explain that kind of love!
@@delanijoubert3939 yes!! That is exactly it! I also had no idea breastfeeding was so hard. Everyone makes it seem like it just comes naturally and it didn’t for me
@@hyoung_765 neither for me! It was such hard work at the start with both my kids. And then I would feel guilty or like a failure for not finding it easy.... It was harder than labor for me. What a journey! My kids are 5 and 7 now but I still remember how I felt during those early days of latching them, pumping for an hour only to get 1 ounce 🤣

I also had the spotting at 10 weeks, it was terrifying, I rushed to the ER, had bloodwork and ultrasound, and the explanation was that it was my placenta implanting or something like that. And I agree, it definitely put everything into perspective, and I can’t imagine ever actually going through a miscarriage even though it is so common. It’s one of my biggest fears and women/pregnant people are so strong. 🥺💞

I seriously feel like you’re having a boy, im 20 weeks right now but i was craving olives and pickles too and salty foods way early on too, and im having a boy omg im so excited to see
I live in Texas and my daughter is 12 weeks old and yes, the amount/lack of appointments and ultrasounds caught me off guard. There’s honestly so much no one ever talks about pregnancy that you discover along the way and most of it is unpleasant... but so worth it!

If your craving something salty you have to try
bolinhos de bacalhau it’s a Portuguese cod fish croquette. So it’s like a salty fish mixed with mashed potatoes and fried into little balls. And there sooo good! I grew up on them and there like my favourite food. So if you have a Portuguese or Brazilian restaurant/bakery you have to try them!

My skin got worse before it got better, but from the 2nd trimester on it truly cleared up SO much & the glow has been real ever since lol! So hang in there mama! 🤗💕 I’m currently 32 weeks pregnant - little girl is due March 22nd & we are so excited! Praying that you continue to have a smooth pregnancy in Jesus’ mighty name! 🙌🏼
Consider that your body have just recovered from an horrific accident and now it is literally growing a human in itself, all your symptoms sounds decent, it totally makes sense. Maybe your next pregnancy experience will be better but definitely not this one, your body has been through a lot. Please give it more time to rest and take good care of it.

I get really bad headaches and sometimes I get nauseous. I buy the puree ginger from Walmart I found it by in the produce and vegetable section next to the garlic. I eat about a tablespoon at a time and it settles my stomach and I love the taste of ginger. It's good in Asian or Indian style foods. I just eat it by it self too. It's delicious 😇

My mom and I's birthday were only a few days apart, and then a few days after my birthday was my parents anniversary. It was just a week of celebrations and it was so special. If your baby is born close to your birthday, you will be so lucky. It brings you closer together.

i don’t wanna call it too early but it’s deffo a boy. all kristin’s symptoms are sooooo similar to my aunt’s symptoms. like the morning sickness, the breaking out, the breathlessness, the lethargy....ik all bodies are different, and different women have diff symptoms but..... idk, either way this baby is gonna be soooo cute 🥰

Regarding the frequent doctor appointments...just wait until the end! You’ll eventually start going closer and closer together and feel like there are so many! They are only spread out like that for a little while at the beginning. At the end, you’ll feel like it’s the only thing you’re doing!

I’m due July 15 with my fourth baby, so I was so excited to see that you were pregnant too!! I feel like my first trimester has been exactly like yours!! Absolutely no motivation and I’m still nauseous, but I feel like mine comes at supper time or if i go too long without eating! I had the bleeding scare too at around 9 weeks, but thankfully everything has been good with baby. for those who are encouraging and praising her for looking “glowy” she IS wearing makeup and looks beautiful with ir, but reality is most woman face acne in areas and puffiness so her normal is not common for most women appearances wise. xox
Having a baby on your birthday is so fun! I shared my birthday with my mom and my grandmother my whole life and then last year I ended up having my daughter on our birthday too, so we had four generations all born on the same day! Then this year, I had a little boy on my husband’s birthday! It’s so much fun.

Oh my gosh the blob description was SPOT ON! 😂 I moved with a young toddler during my first trimester all while my husband was starting a new job... we had boxes sitting around FOREVER because I had NO motivation. It was sooooo rough! Legit I couldn’t bring myself to do ANYTHING after my toddler went to bed. I would lay in bed and go to sleep at like 9:00 PM. 😅 finally after that wore off my husband was SO surprised that I still knew how to cook and clean. 😂 he said, “I thought you had changed.” So excited for you guys! You will be amazing parents!

Hearing about the spotting and how you both were feeling brought tears to my eyes! I know that feeling of waiting and waiting ❤️ it’s one I don’t want anyone to feel. For us, the Lord had different plans. But I now have given birth to our rainbow baby💙 so so happy everything was okay! And don’t worry, I thought you got ultrasounds every visit too😂😂
I had morning sickness my entire pregnancy with my first, I was even late to my induction! But then I got pregnant eight weeks after I had him and I only got sick one time that entire pregnancy. They both were boys. 💙

My birthday is Dec. 12th, and my daughter was due in Dec. 11. I was so excited to share birthdays, but then she got all sassy about it and came a month early. She lovingly entered the word on Nov. 12. LOL She was a beautiful, healthy baby! So happy for you and Marcus. You two are going to do great.
