Creo que significa que algunas personas le temen a lo que es diferente a ellos. Porque les han metido en la cabeza que lo que es diferente a ellos es malo, solo por ser diferente. O tal vez habrán tenido una mala experiencia con lo "diferente". Y el miedo ahora los está deteniendo, puede que de encontrarse con cosas distintas, y asombrosas.
Creo que se refiere a que los adultos le temen a lo que es diferente a ellos, pero no a lo que hay en el interior de nosotros, la bondad.
En mi opinión, cada persona es distinta y asombrosa a su forma, y no todos los adultos le temen a lo distinto.

idk but i do have a theory,i think they could make nimona 2. in the movie we see adult gloreth and the monster nimona became in the movie due to anger and despair,it means it happened 1000 years ago when gloreth was an adult,or how else they could draw the monster nimona became? also,we don't know where did nimona came from and it was told 'monsters' not 'monster' it means nimona must have come from either a tribe/ being who can shape shift and were what the ppl feared of. i think nimona 2 could be a thing, what about you?

It’s unfortunate for her, but they were in the right. It takes multiple people to take down a bear. Seeing said bear turn into a human means that it could turn into something even more powerful. What they saw was a dangerous being playing with their child, I would not let that slide. It’s like letting your child go and play with a nuke, whether or not it’s active is unknown, so you have to assume it’s active to protect those close to you.

Glorith had to do something to stop everyone from hurting her friend. Being Nimona’s friend she had to do the very thing that will hurt even herself. Everyone saw Nimona as a threat but would not listen to Glorith, the only one who would was Nimona. A sacrifice in order to keep her friend safe in the shadows. 😢

Someone explain to me, how Nimona’s friend changed her outlook on her so quickly. Despite how much fun, they had, within seconds, she turns her back on her, and I don’t know why….
Because of her parents influence and them telling her she’s a monster,plus her violent outburst when the villagers attack her.she’s scared.
Its probally(idk how to spell this) Her mom And dad or the vilagers
Her parents told her she was an evil monster and to stay away from her... so she got scared and did what she did
(She was influenced because hatred is taught)
She burnt down the village and hurt people and her parents told her that she was scary

Everyone was beating her up with pitch forks and torches, so she shapeshifted into things to defend herself and started biting in the air hoping they would go away, a dude threw a torch at her back which bounced and fell on something flammable so the village went on fire😕

Literally no one asked, but I’m autistic, and I can’t help but relate to her. I’ve watched this movie 5 times and I cry every single time.
I relate to everything from her story to the way she copes with it (or lack there of)
She becomes the monster they all see her as to feel better, but she still clearly suffers from nightmares, flashbacks, and triggers.
There was a time I was seen as a monster, too, and even I sometimes just want to let them drive a sword into my heart.

Admittedly, I haven’t seen the whole film. But I had seen snippets and remembered the name and I realized: I had read the BOOK. The comic Nimona when I was like in college. So while I was watching a few scenes it ended up clicking for me exactly what this was.
With that said, I also relate, as someone who is also autistic, to the shitty feeling of being isolated because you’re different

Pretty obvious why. Of course they would be more scared once they realize that it can look like them, easy for them to infiltrate
If you saw a bear playing with your kid, then watched it turn into a human afterwards, you know how scared you’d be? A massive apex predator of the forest can turn into a _human?_ she could wipe out the entire village if Gloreth pissed her off, it’s the same as letting your kid play with a nuke
Probably at the idea of some unknown and potentially evil magic. Shapeshifters throughout most mythologies are often seen as malevolent tricksters, often ranging from some degree of chaotic neutral to outright evil. Because for all they know, her base for may not be human/humanoid, and it's to take advantage of them.
