I'm concerned about the hosel being welded to the head. That interrupts the grain flow.
Mizuno doesn't do that. The hosel and head are stamped as one piece. Why do you weld the hosel on?

The shaft is attached to the head with glue, the grip is rubber and is attached with tape. The grain doesn’t ‘flow’ all the way to your hands in any golf club, so where the grain flow begins and ends in the head itself is irrelevant. What is relevant is that the spin welding creates one piece of metal and expels all gasses. This results in a perfect finished product. Also I think the hosel is more a component of the shaft than the head. The head is parallel to the line of strike, and the hosel, like the shaft is not. Finally the head is flat and the hosel is cylindrical. Is does not make sense to forge the two in the same press.

If the 3rd stamp during forging is so important, why don't they stamp 4 or 5 times ? Why don't other companies stamp 3 or more times during forging ?

      Law of diminishing returns.

@Liam Francomb- You need a set of dies for each stage. Dies are expensive to make and they wear out quickly under the constant pounding of a multi thousand ton hammer and the high heat. So the more stages in the forging process the higher the cost of the finished product.
The first 2 stampings are rough stampings. The 3rd die has more intricate details in it and is the most expensive die. The advantage is that less manual grinding is required by a human after the 3rd forging.
