Senior Bowl 1 on 1. Reese's Senior Bowl. 2023 Senior Bowl Practice Highlights. 2023 NFL Draft 2023. The always entertaining one on one matchups between the wide receivers and defensive backs at the 2023 Senior Bowl. Day 2 of WR/DB 1 on 1 matchups and some players built on their day 1 success, some improved in day 2 and a several took a step back. WR Nathaniel "Tank" Dell is small but his quicks, speed and route-running create a ton of separation on virtually every rep. Ole Miss wide receiver Jonathan Mingo had a bounce back performance and Jalen Wayne caught our attention. Safety Christopher Smith is as advertised, South Carolina cornerback Darius Rush was very impressive running the route for the WR repeatedly, Anthony Johnson, Julius Brents and Tyrique Stevenson have been fairly consistent and Jay Ward improved today. Rashee Rice was held/interfered with a lot but needs to be more precise in his routes and play with his patented physicality. Couch Potato General Manager. Couch Potato GM. CPGM.

Mingo, Rush the most consistent and not flashy. If you put a ball in Dell’s hands it would look like he’s playing 🏀. He’s not even running a route
Stevenson looks good
Can’t figure Rush out, got good recovery technique to jump routes but to me if feels like he’s guessing the limited route tree, would like to see him cover on some deep routes to see if he’s a sitter.
Rashee rice didn’t looks particularly great today. I thought Wicks looked better at fighting through contact in route
Excellent points. Stevenson guessing showed up in 11 on 11 today. Rice was held quite a bit, but agreed. He didn't play with the same urgency and physicality we're accustomed to. Needs to be more precise in his route-running.
@@cpgmNFLDraft to be fair, rice was a big zone guy. I don’t know if he has the traits to be a great 1on1 guy but his physicality + if he develops his route running a bit more, should do fine as a WR2

Dell runs great routes and can get open. But he gotta catch the ball
100% Rush was guessing based off the release. If someone ran the "Seattle" route that Tank Dell ran on Hellams vs Rush I think he would've been beaten badly. With that said I like him. Fastest guy there by GPS too.
It’s not necessarily guessing it’s just great technique in knowing most routes are canceled out depending on how the wr comes of the line I love his technique

Tank is definitely solid but Mingo is the best WR there this past weekend.
Mingo got better every day.
I really like Tank Dell too. But people falling in love with his shifty routes need to know alot of NFL coaches won't allow that. It takes too long. Also alot of balls look inaccurate when thrown to him but his catch radius is so small. You have to be precise throwing to him. I think whoever takes him must have a very accurate QB
Stroud and Dell perfect matchup and you don’t have back to back 1300 yard seasons and 17tds in a season if you can’t make up for your size
