Hey peeps! Before I start my typical long description, I just want to say a BIG thank you to the driver, Paul. Always love a driver who's chill about being recorded, and likes to strike up a conversation or so here and there.
So back story, since this is the day before my last day of school, I got let out early. Since my old school is literally right next to his route, and featured in a few shots of the video, I saw that recycling hadn't been collected.
After I got home, I got permission to roam around that area. I had no luck after 40+ minutes of looking. I was confused, as some carts had been collected, and some hadn't, which lead me to believe, either the truck broke down somewhere, or that since it was around lunch time, it would be lunch break for the drivers.
I walked back towards the park, looking into carts for contamination to pass the time. I was sitting on this little hill, and was about to pull out and walk home, until I heard a muffled Peterbilt 320 all the way across the park. I turn around, and I see #SJ37, drive past some carts, and start collecting right where I thought he would.
Of course, I asked for permission, and he was more than happy to grant my permission to film. I followed him for quite some time, roughly 10-30 minutes, and it ultimately terminated on my own decision. (due to not knowing how long I could film, and because it was absolutely scorching hot)
This was actually my first time seeing a "Courtesy Notice" in person. I heard of these notes, but never actually have seen them. A couple carts got tagged for excessive damage.
This is also, my first time filming a CWS truck, out of my normal street/area, besides George in #SJ31. This truck in particular, is probably the sexiest Peterbilt 320 on an Autoreach I have ever heard. Takeoffs, reverse sounds, satisfying grippers stowing away, etc.
Again, BIG thank you Paul, I promised I would get this video up by today, and I managed to do just that! Hope you enjoy your first time being on CZcams as a CWS driver!
