This is episode 3 of my helmet painting vlog. In this installment, I paint 2 helmets for a very special project as I team-up with PFAFF McLaren in Toronto.
Awesome video! - Is the name on the side of the helmet a sticker or painted on? - Is the dual stripe tape separating the orange and white a vinyl cut from the plotter? - why do you clear coat first and then still keep adding paint and logos? - Do you have to sand down the clear coat to apply the matt coat?
Senna's helmet with different colors...I love it!
Wow you have a great work ethic I will continue to follow your channel and spread your great work 🏁🏎🏁
Thanks, will do!

You are so welcome!
Fantastic!
Thank you! Cheers!
👍🏻😳😳😳
How did you get the thin black strips so parallel, is there a special tape? Thanks
All homemade stripes. There are no other alternatives.
Great piece of art Patrice!
Isn't there an edge between mate and gloss clear coat in the end?
Yes there is. Small price to pay for that effect. Cheers!
Great Job! Great Video! are you using solvent based paint? its seems like when I use water based the lines are never sharp when I take off the tape!
Yes, correct. I've tried water based paint with no success.
I have a question. Where did you get the pencil apparatus toy use for marking straight lines on the helmet? What is it called? Great work!
In Episode 2 I believe he said his friend made it for him.
Yep, got it made locally by a machinist.
How can you get it
