Thanks for the memories. I had 42 "45" when I was 14 back in 1955. What a fun bike. Wish I still had it. But my 99 Softail Custom is a great bike also.
That's a great-looking bike. You did a great job explaining everything about the bike. I really like the gold and black and those leather saddlebags. Keep the videos coming brother. God bless and stay safe. ✌️
Wow, that was so interesting, I’ve learnt a lot about the HD’s of the past. I wish I’d have been in the position to buy one of the original ex army ones. Look forward to viewing more of your fascinating content, keep safe.
Thanks, so glad you enjoyed it. Hope to have a video of Libby ready sometime next month. Back in the day they were practically giving the army surplus ones away. Cheers
thats something new i have learned about the wla's , great ,, on those roads even a long travel suspension would suffer a bit , so the old dave does a good job , also the speedo that you can see ::::: much better than the new tft crap;;
Glad you found it interesting. Yes I'm afraid British roads are in a bit of a mess now and he does cope quite well considering the very limited suspension. Cheers.

I had one of these in the early 70's. It was great fun but sadly it had to be sold to represent a house deposit. Happy memories though.
Glad it brought back some good memories.
Cheers.
