A lot of Pepper , very little salt hardly any salt don't even salt the corn meal because everybody puts too damn much salt on the corn meal . Fry it high heat for 95 seconds .

Glad to see you and ole Cisco chasing dem silver-wonders.Have not had a chance to let ya know bout my motor situation BUT she refused to run properly UNLESS I removed motor cover and I hate running her that way and have a mechanic in Tickfaw working to separate powerhead from mid-section,thankfully he has a good used 50 hp mid-section and I should be getting her back sometime after New Year's Day.Also,glad to hear ya dad making a slow but steady recovery.Duck hunting been pretty much a total bust and one of the deer club members on my club killed a 7 pt buck that weighed #130!!Intend to hit my stand,was supposed to head to Venice today-Sat but my Venice connection told us to postpone.What I really would like to do is partner wth him on either a barge that we could construct a nice camp on or get a houseboat at a reasonable price and have a Venice camp,mostly for fishing trips out that way as duck hunting is about as abysmal as I have ever seen and I have been duck hunting about 30 years!!
@@Laproduceman Yep,I chatted with my Tickfaw boat mechanic a few days ago and we both agreed it was gonna be a bear getting em out,thankfully he has perfectly good used mid-section and if he destroys mine(inevitable)the used one got excellent bolts that should easily come out!!Keep ya posted and dat ole Johnson got compression to die for!!
I thought we might have missed the morning bite. But everyone we talked to struggled. It was definitely a tough one at least for me so you’re not alone.

He’s now in a rehabilitation facility in Baton Rouge. But still a very long road to recovery. Too cold for me to think about going out the water will be super low as you most likely know. Good luck catching your 9 tomorrow morning Karl.

I had to take an unwanted break from fishing and life. My dad was in a very bad motorcycle accident in November and I’ve been wide open getting him settled into a facility.

The only time we will have a hard time will be the summer months. I will be fishing Ms this summer after the big ones if it holds like last year. We have a friend that bought land and has this boat there.

I thought you would have trouble with that base gasket. He will have hell getting the bolts out.

What size jig head do you use and are you fishing the middle of the water column when you jig it or are you jigging off bottom? Thanks in advance.
3/8 jighead let hit the bottom jig once let
It settle hits bottom again do the same.

Basically same fish without specks. White trout doesn’t freeze well only problem with them
