      It is what it is at that point. Live with the results. The clippers had five years (more like 4 years) of being contenders. I mean, back when the trade happened, you do the trade 10/10 times. There was no guarantee that Shai would have turned out the way he is now if he stayed on the Clippers. The Clippers got Kawhi (FMVP) and PG (3rd in Regular Season MVP voting) in their primes.
      If the second apron wasn't a thing, I'm sure they would have been more willing to give PG exactly what he wanted. The clippers opted for flexibility with the new CBA. Which I think is the second best option. The best being PG staying.

    "You gotta do what's best for your family" - That's the worst start to this topic someone talking to a player like you PG could possibly have done. You're set for life, and your family is set for multiple generations, that kind of thought process takes a infinite amount of ego and arrogance to have. You've made with endorsements, sponsorships, and your own signature shoes well over a half a BILLION dollars. This podcast is a income source. There's zero excuse for such a thought process. Or thinking somehow now a contract is never enough and that's it's "too low". Honestly, ridiculous and somewhat insulting to us everyday working class people who put our hard earned money into going to games, paying for our favorite player's merch and gear, the TV subscription, etc. "BUT I NEED MORE MONEY, THAT'S NOT ENOUGH!"
    Reminds me of Jamal Crawford when he was here in Portland, he got offered the biggest contract of that offseason from us, and he had the audacity to say publicly in a interview "I have a family to feed", when he had made well over $120M by that point in his career, if not more. "I got a family to feed" to a contract he's literally claiming was "too little in money" to care for his family, as if it would make him and them destitute. There's been a overall negative feeling and perception of him ever since that I know won't leave any born & raised Oregonians and Blazers fans. The uproar that caused instantly was more than expected and well deserved. This has the same kind of egotism to it, but disputably a little worse given how much money you've made to this point.
    And then consider the new CBA, and the health and success track records of both you and Kwahi, yeah, they'd be idiots to sign you both to such massive contracts. That's not disrespect to you guys or your skills and impact either, it's just facts using the full picture. The one mistake they did make was not working with you to agree to a sign and trade in order to ensure they got something back for you, rather than letting you walk for nothing, making the Shai for you trade so much worse now, considering it therefore has quite literally wound up giving away Shai, you and the future of the team up for absolutely nothing in return.

      he may have served a 4 year $199 mil and some compromise for what he showed throughout most of year which is less risky than picking up Harden from Philly and breaking up the well rounded clippers team ar beginning of year.

    I personally don't think Paul George is a max player but I know he will get the max. That being said, even I think Paul George got done dirty here. If what he said was true then LAC should have given him the no trade clause.

      @@_fredo8 You not wrong but Kawhi already signed and Paul George hadn't yet. Perhaps LAC was okay with losing him for nothing, I don't know but I was under the impression that LAC wanted to keep these 2 together since they gave up so much for them.

I got my self my dream car 🚗 just last weekend, My journey with her started after my best friend came back from New York and saw me suffering in dept then told me about her and how to change my life through her. Christina A. Tucker is the kind of person one needs in his or her life! I got a home, a good wife, and a beautiful daughter. Note: this is not a promotion but me trying to make a point that no matter what happens, always have faith and keep living!

    2 years/ $60 is actually understandable. He’s 34, his numbers have decreased, and it allows the clippers to reset at the end of the deal. At the same time… they gave Harden more 🧐

    im on both side on this one, they just cant find an agreement its perfectly fine, respect P you should always know your worth and stand by it, but also father time is catching up, theres no player in clippers greater than kawhi both in stardom and resume kawhis value is bigger than anyone on clippers, crazy how dominating clippers are when hes healthy, but then you are always there for clippers. good luck with everything P i hope all goes well in philly!

  • @atty.fernandog.madarcos8724

    Philly didnt give him a no trade clause tho 😆
    Clips were going to trade him within the 3 yr contract 😂

  • @JayZJay7
    @JayZJay7 Před 12 dny +1

    That Sixers contract will be the worst acquisition during Morey’s tenure in Philly. Joel ain’t gonna stay healthy for a season, they secured center depth with Drummond, and PG is not gonna supercede Tyrese Maxey in the pecking order. Maxey is too good and PG will look like Tobias Harris.
