  • This time we take a look at a few ways to approach the low chinese fuseki. We're seeing that opening everywhere, better have a few ideas on how to handle it nicely tucked away in our arsenal.

I normally approach outside of 4-4 stone. Now I will try the inside too. Thanks ^^

Great stuff there. Didn't think going inside chinese could be that good. Thanks for the Q

you should flip the videos you film at your board vertically so that your "left," "right," "up," and "down" are all consistent. Great videos!

Thanks, really nice shortie. Though I've never seen this played against me, I like how you pointed out white follow-ups. I would have considered this better for black, so thanks for shedding some light on the weaknesses. Please continue this format. Just two more remarks: flip orientation, as you often mix up top/bottom and maybe try to improve the sound volume.. Need to turn it up rather far compared to your other videos.

I like these shorties, but I would like more Tygem Series. You teased us with it.

You can make some round pieces of something, maybe wood and write A, B, C etc on them for labeling tools.

You can almost use anything for labeling. Maybe some playing pieces of an old board game or if you prefer something you can easily reference to what about dice?

Out of curiosity, is there a reason you film from this orientation rather than the reverse? It inverts top/bottom and left/right, obviously, but is there some benefit I haven't thought of?

    The bamboozled reference is funny.

The Shorties was a good series. It's a shame he didn't continue making them.

Glad to hear it! The videos about the two space high pincer were particularly enlightening.

what about approach on the outside of the 4-4 stone, which was in some kind of fashion last year?

  • @jonathannyquist582

Of course, the obvious question is how this changes when white has not opened with dual 4-4 corners, but say, has a 4-4 and a 3-4.

With adobe Premier for instance, just make a title sequence, put in a single letter (like A, B,C) and you can extremely easily resize and place them over the video. Takes 30 seconds!

Interstingly, some time later, this part of this video... czcams.com/video/JGEiSBM4Dv0/video.htmlm35s ... makes this approach look tough
