I think the fact he was just so good in playoffs, and despite Dallas usually rolling over anti dive, pelican just looked amazing on him. Plus he played him a bit more too. Not that it's real easy to see Torb impact all the time.
I found your way of looking at the stats kind of weird since the players who played a hero for a long time have lower stats as the sample size is larger and so the numbers won’t be the best for every game, so if lip for say only played an hour of cass and flora played 4 hours, lips averages will be higher if he popped off in that one hour while flora pops of for 2 hours 30 and has mediocre performance on the other 1 and a half hour his averages will be lower than lips just a thought

For me, best ball is Gaga. He can do so much more things than fate. All fate does is running around enemy’s backline and initiate fights. The reason why his stats are decent is the pressure that SHD’s dps player give to the opponent team so that they can’t focus on killing the ball. On the other hand, gaga did a lot more. He always dive in with leave and get the opening kills.
get off lip he was good but there were way better people for cass and co, i don't understand the fact you went from stats too just i like this player it doesn't make sense to me.
I would easily give the best DVA to Hanbin. I mean, its pretty hard to spot the best DVA since you'd have to look at every single micro play (i.e., eating nades, sleeps, opening up the way for dps, etc). Additionally, in the video, you say "look at the 5-man DVA bomb Void got, but also remember the 4-man bombs Hanbin would get against Shanghai on Anubis, or that one time he single handedly killed all of them in the finals. All in all, I think its really hard to argue the "best" DVA, since stats arent everything when it comes to off-tanks, so I really think we'll be able to clearly cut out who the best is next season, in Overwatch 2. I reckon both Hanbin and DVA have been so dominant, you could argue either over the other, but the clear cut "best" between the two will be more cut out in OW2 imo

I feel like Kai should've gotten Cassidy and Pelican for Echo since the difficulty of competition and competition pool is slightly bigger with the meta also favouring the players in APAC when it comes to stats since they were basically playing no shields meta with ball/sombra/pharah being the staple pick. While NA was running rush/double shields. At the very least its worth considering.

I think sparkr even could have been a contender to best Hanzo. Despite London netting the results that they did, sparkr was always dominating on the hero, and helped to raise their team fight win rate by a decent amount with his presence.
Nah man, Heesu. Man carried on hanzo and was one of the only reasons why Toronto got as far as they did.
but sparkr came in mid way through the year making him ineligible
