One thing you will learn about OOR fans is that we love the band... The entire band, not just Taka. The entire band is amazing. Check out "Let Me Let You Go" at Luxury Disease Japan Tour and hopefully you'll change your mind a bit about the other guys.
The band's name comes from the time "one o'clock" (Ls sound like Rs in Japanese) which is the time the band used to practice because studio rental fees were cheaper at 1AM. So in Japanese, the band's name sounds more like "one o'clock," but it's fine to pronounce it as "one okay rock" in English, which is what the band does too. Fyi, ONE OK ROCK fans are called OORers (pronounced "one o'clockers").
My favorite song by the band is "The Beginning." You can watch their live performance at Eye of the Storm Japan Tour. The song has a good mix of Japanese and English lyrics. If you want a song entirely in Japanese, try something like "Yokubou ni Michita Seinendan" at Yokohama Stadium or "Mad World" at Luxury Disease Japan Tour.
I'm sure I probably mentioned it last time too, but the band will be performing at the Kia Forum in LA on October 23, so you should really consider coming out to see them in concert. They're so good.
OOR albums are just teasers for the live tour. They always change up the live performances, and they twist and tweak the songs over the years too, so you won't find the same performance of a song in 2015 or in 2024 :)) They are literally 300% better live than in the studio. The energy of their concerts is just contagious.

Great reaction to OOR! Next I'd recommend "We Are" (Ambitions Japan dome tour), "The Beginning" (Eye of the storm tour), and "Mighty Long Fall" (at Yokohama).
Any song with Taka singing is so great and this is no exception. Love his voice so much. Hope you can react to Clock Strikes (35xxxv tour). Taka's vocal range is really just amazing.

Other members are talented too, they are not only playing instruments but also doing harmony for Taka.
They don't overdo things just because they want Taka's voice to shine, not because they can't.
Tomoya(drummer) even said that he is cautious about not doing anything too much, their job is supporting the lead singer's voice shine on stage and catch everyone's heart❤
In their concert, there is always some moment they will let the instrumental members to show off their skills, but they don't do that when they want everyone to focus on Taka's voice.
There are instruments solo moments in "Let me let you go" Luxury disease Japan tour and "Bedroom warfare" Ambition Japan tour , hope that will change your opinion to other members ❤

They have Japanese stuff, alot of Japanese songs.. and their old songs are more hard & rockiest than these 2 songs y'all heard

one ok rock themselves said clearly their album is just as an invitation to their live concerts/performances/tours
Taka's voice is amazing, no question there. but the other three lads are all great musicians. Toru and Ryota on guitar and bass are both top shelf. and Tomoya's drumming skills are just mind-blowing. OOR is the full package. and i don't know if you've read this, but the name one ok rock is a play on words referring to the days when they were starting out and could only afford studio time in the late night-early morning hours. one o'clock. :)

Just a heads up that they’re doing 2 arena shows in North America in October. I’ll seeing them in Toronto and there’ll one in LA. See them if you can - you WILL NOT be disappointed.

What you're not getting is the "tightness" of the band which requires great musicianship and work.the bass player and drummer play parts that are not generic and are very unique rhythmically, while the guitarist is carrying a lot of musicality with a very mixed style of techniques similar to John Frusciante. Taka is definitely one of the greatest voices in rock history.

Check out the mv for Chaosmyth. It’s a great song about friendship. Each letter of the song title represents one of Taka’s best of friends, including Satoshi Fujihara (S), the lead vocalist of Official Higedan dism, another great rock band you really need to check out. I believe this song was made soon after the death of one of his other friends..

「 H: Haruma MIura 」passed away in July 2020, and three months later, this song was performed at “ONE OK ROCK 2020 “Field of Wonder” at Stadium Live” and Taka sang it while holding back tears . All OORers cried when they saw Taka.
