So cool that I ran into this message today... Been unable to turn my mind off when going to sleep lately so I decided to repeat "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty" until I fell asleep... but I couldn't remember the rest and have been meaning to look 🙂 and whalah here it is Revelation 4:8 God always works in mysterious ways... and knows just where to find us, right where we are 🙂

Please read the read 1 Corinthian 2:9 starting with verse 1. Rich is just pulling this Scripture out of context. It has nothing to do with prayer. The context is talking about Biblical truth cannot be obtainable or available by natural man. So verse 9 is stating that natural man can not see, hear or know in their hearts the wisdom of God. They can't conceive it. But God in his sovereignty has prepared that Biblical truth and God reveals that truth through the Holy Spirit to his believers. Knowing that 1 Corinthian 2:9 doesn't mean turn your brain off when you pray, where is the Scripture that states to turn off your brain when you pray? There is no Scripture that states that.

@@edikanataekong what are you talking about? This is not my only comment on this video. In another comment I addressed that the little bit of truth he has to say means nothing when watered down with eastern mysticism and taking verses out of context.
Nowhere in the Bible does Jesus tell us to empty our brains. That is eastern mystic thinking.
Of course we should engage God logically like he said but he also said sometimes we need to empty ourselves and turn off our brains. Which is WRONG and not what Jesus teaches us to ever do.
When you empty yourself it lets other things come in. Easterners know this.
You would have to turn your brain off to watch this sermon...

@@mariaschinella8973 A covering on a woman’s head is used as an illustration of the order, headship, and the authority of God. It's explained by Paul in 1 Corinthians, not sure exactly where though you might have to read through it to find it
