TRASTEVERE ITALY is one of Rome's hidden gems and is Italy's best neighborhoods to visit due to it's trendy bar's and vivid nightlife. This unique spot in Rome is full of amazing restaurants and taking a walking tour through here will not leave you disappointed. Our Italy travel day started out in Capri and then took us to Naples and finally to Trastevere before heading back to Canada. Stopping over in Rome was great because it was the cheapest city to fly home from and so we saved a lot of money traveling Italy this way!

Just to know,Naples have parts of the city that are completly different from historical center which is dirty because of narrow streets and a lot of people,so dont judge the city only by some parts.
Trastevere is amazing part of Rome,dont only because of nightlife also there you get a chance to feel some local spirit and the real italian atmosphere:)

I hope I got this wrong but you said that you recommend skipping Naples because it’s dirty... many metropolis are dirty (rome, milan, berlin etc) but still worth a visit! I would recommend to properly visit naples because it is so full of monuments, churches, museums, beautiful and unique landscapes! Naples is one of a kind and only by exploring it you will appreciate it and change your mind. As an italian, I hope you will.
Dragonfly In amber yes she did say it’s ‘really dirty’ 😒 it honestly frustrates me when tourists say beautiful cities with incredible history like Naples and Athens are ‘dirty’. They are ancient and densely populated.. how do you expect them to appear?

It‘s called „rome by night“ or „rome at night“? How is it correct in english?
You could use either of them ... although 'Rome by night' is probably the better option.
Missed out on Freni e Frizioni. Great spot in Trastevere to have drinks. Pigneto is probably the better neighborhood if you want to get away from the tourists and check out some great bars/restaurants with the locals.
Ah next time!! I wish we got to spend more time here we did Italy kind of fast haha
