Sunset Hike to Ryan Mountain - Joshua Tree National Park | Hiking in the Mojave Desert of California

On our last night in Joshua Tree, Ash and I found a premier spot for sunset on Ryan Mountain. This is a very popular mountain to hike in the park and we were shocked to find the summit completely empty on a Friday night! This had to be some of the most amazing scenery I have ever seen, and the sunset was absolutely amazing. Coming from the Northeast, the desert really is something, and this was the perfect ending to our trip to Southern California!
