Zeth, you're gonna love this story. When I was a kid, we had an older guy who loved kids like 2 streets away. He was known as the candy man, the kids in our street were allowed to go to his house and we'd get a piece of candy. All parents knew about him, some knew him and trusted him (like my parents). I understand the story can sound a bit creepy, but it makes me feel sad because he was genuinely a good guy.
He had rules, like only getting one piece of candy per day. I remember one time we were with 4 and all switched jackets to get candy for a second time, obviously he noticed haha. I feel blessed having lived in a small town were this was possible, I played outside everyday and felt completely safe ❤

Zeth is right about Michael Jackson - they couldn’t catch him on any of the charges they just humiliated him and wanted to take him out. He beat all the charges. It’s sad how depraved our society is that people who just genuinely love kids are treated like creeps. I just had my first daughter & while I’m protective I also try to make sure when men stop to say how cute she is or something I don’t treat them like criminals bc it’s NATURAL for babies to bring out the good in us!

Okay, I’ve never wanted children. Like… ever. Not that I’m bad with kids or whatever. However, this has me curious. My big question is how do you feel about how the world is progressing when it comes to your children? It’s so different with technology now, global warming, etc. I’m a little jaded, so forgive me, but I KNOW I’m not the only person who thinks about the demise of our civilization.

Growing up as a millennial everyone told you it was needed to have everything figured it out before having kids and now being 30 and my husband 32 struggling to have kids is even scarier than probably having kids in our mid twenties.
Listening to a couple that have gone through struggles and still came out of it for their kids is very inspiring. Love these videos with the both of you!

Totally agree. I'm 38 and finally pregnant with my 1st child. Throughout my 20’s I felt unworthy of being a parent because of my boomer parent mentality.
At one point I thought I may not even want to have kids but then I realized that I would regret not having children with my husband whom I love entirely and would always wonder about our lives without children. I'm going to be 39 when my child is born and plan to have another one right after 😅
I worked with children for over 13 years so I know I will be able to parent successfully 🙌

    • @kpeezyforsheezy
      @kpeezyforsheezy Před 18 dny

@@eslavicky4432props to you for waiting until you felt comfortable to have kids. From a young age I knew that I did not want to have children of my own, but completely happy (and have done so!) coparenting with my love. I, too, am 38 and turning the page toward the end of the year. I still feel the same way about incubating a human of my own.
After my parents had my bro my Momma could not get impregnated again. 10 years later a terrible accident occurred resulting a long hospital stay for my Mom. Sometime after she got home my mom was well enough to have visitors, a stork dropped me off - a few decades and some years later - here I am. She was 38 when it all started with me.
One assistance I had as a deciding factor was I’m not going to get pregnant until I know I can give my children the life that my parents provided for me. *Wisdom and overall outlook, energy, financially, experience, and intelligence* ~to name a few.
I had the astute introspection to see and understand that I have the spirit of the wild child, the traveler, the yearning for experience and spiritually nourished with being the here one day and gone the next, nomad, dancing with life - where its cool for people to come and join, stay as long as you’d like! - the more the merrier, we make it look like this was rehearsed! (type of life) - but in the end, my spirit feels heavy even CONSIDERING having a little piece of my heart out and about strutting around like she just left the salon. Oh how beautifully terrifying the concept. My props to all the parents out there! You guys are savage.
Unfortunately, it seems the people that absolutely should be procreating are choosing not to, the ones whom you’re surprised they even know where the hole is are popping ‘em out like the highest option at the batting cages.
Women, do not feel bad about choosing not to have children. The truth is, our feminine nature makes it so we are providing that goddess mother to everybody and everything around us subconsciously. We are not a woman because we incubate a baby, we are a woman through that nurturing instinct and love/ trust we harness a built in heir of.
(I know I went a bit off track but ladies - we are bad ass!)
But I digress… my parents are my heroes and best friends, celebrating 49 years of marriage this year come August. My brother is 48, I’ll be 38 this year which is the age my Momma was when she got pregnant with me. My parents are both retired and going about life pretty much doing whatever they want, we go to concerts and shows together regularly. 70’s sound old to you two now but being in your 70’s in this day and age isn’t what 70’s used to look like.
Truthfully, you’ll make it look like whatever you make it look like. I wish you guys could see what those crazy kids look like 😂
Don’t let having children at a later age worry you. You never feel the age you actually are. My pops would always tell me that growing up but it wasn’t until the last couple of years I truly innerstood what he meant.
Anyway, life - there’s a basic structure to it but however you want to design it is completely up to you. You can even give a box some pizazz. Enjoy your life my friends! And good luck, congratulations, and wishing you all enough of everything for your roads ahead
      ✌🏻 + ❤️

Kids are SOOOO much fun. I loved having small kids. I 100% agree that you should have fun with your kids because that’s what builds memories with them. I’m 41 right now and my two older kids are grown and moved out, my youngest is a teenager in high school and likes to do his own thing now. I cannot tell you how much I wish I could go back to the days when my kids were young and I had them all at home. My kids have always been my whole entire life. Once you have kids nothing else matters. Take advantage of this time with your kids. You can never get it back no matter how much you miss it.

Everyone is not going to see what he is saying about Michael and children. He loves children so much, and that is how he thought about Michael. To say Walt Disney is a better reference, clearly you haven’t done your homework… he is the most corrupt! Michael’s accusers even admitted that they lied about him. Aaron Carter also said that his mother wanted him to lie and said Michael did something wrong. Your husband is not creepy, he just has a childlike heart (like me), and wants to be young and play with/like the children forever. Love that!❤

I totally concur about MJ, Zeth. I've always felt that he was very misunderstood. I feel that he really missed out on a childhood and he's always been a kid that never grew up who just wanted friends and fun. I believe he came from such a place of innocence.
Unfortunately greed, evil and manipulation had to take something so pure and innocent and turn it into something that it was not. I felt really bad for him and I think they really did him dirty. Good for u for standing up for him Zeth!

as someone who also loves kids and works with them everyday, i’m glad Zeth is brave enough to have this conversation! i do think it has to be put in the context of/with a disclaimer that our current society hates children, does not protect them whatsoever, and there are tons of people around children who do not have their best interest at heart. with saying that, it sucks to be an adult that wants to protect children and not be able to express love for them/want to be around them without being side eyed.. like we have reason to be so cautious but idk.. children need safe adults around too. i’m not sure how to elaborate on this with the right words but i feeeell you! the line of appropriateness is very thin.

Zeth is right about Michael Jackson. He was being extorted by the kids parents. A few of them have admitted it. Also, he owned the entire Sony catalog. He purchased it fair and square, which many higher ups in the industry did not like. They were trying to get that catalog back for years before they killed him for it. MJ's estate sold it back to them after his death. So, not only was he being extorted by these kids parents, he was also being targeted by the industry.

I appreciate their age gap now, but having them so close in age was so hard to get used to up until toddlerhood. Obviously, it's doable, but I also read that when women have their kids in their 30s vs. 20s, they are mentally much more adaptable in many cases. I am huge on being present and soaking in every moment, but when you're struggling so much mentally and physically to keep up, the daily can be so exhausting. Hey Zeth, been watching you since the beginning. As someone who grew up in a family of three kids (I am the oldest of three, 2F 1M) I highly recommend a 4th. We are all super close but when it came to playing games/sports in the backyard it sucked not having an even number. Same with when we would play video games.
    Happy birthday Saylor! 🥳

I feel the same way. I am also the oldest of 3. Im 18 mos older than my brother and the. He is 13 months older than our sister. And someone (usually him or her lol) got left out of playing.... And if anyone got to go run errands with the parental unit one got left behind at home because there wasnt enough room to comfortably fit in our pick up truck and i believe it there would have been 4 then one (me) wouldn't have been left home alone all the time.

    Happy Birthday Saylor 🎉🎂
Thanks for another great episode. Zeth I grew up in a big family with 6 kids in the house. My dad was the big kid. He played softball and football ball. He watched tv with us, we’d listen to music together but most importantly our house was the cool house. All the neighborhood kids came to our house to play. My dad would play with us and tell us jokes. I am so grateful for that because I know people who didn’t get that. They had a dad who worked and came home to relax and that was it. We didn’t have money but my dad would take us cruisin with the music blasting and we’d hang out at the park or go to the beach in the summer.

We have a 4 year old who loves the Fancy Nancy books. We saw it on Disney+, I believe, so we let her watch a couple episodes but banned it not too long after because of Nancy's attitude. Doesn't come across like that in the books (though, maybe it's the way we read it to her?)
We didn't get any sass from our 4 year old but we didn't want it to start 😅

I love the conspiracy conversation.. It's a view into all of us trying to have conspiracy conversations with people who see it differently. "You Crazy!" But also, I love your view Zeth, Its sad that a minority of bad players made it creepy to genuinely/purely love kids. Also, here's additional thought for your conspiracy. Taking away love (making it creepy) from our youth breaks them down and causes many issues; as you can see in our society today. By making it weird to care and nurture our fellow humans, we've taken away a basic foundational need that supports growing into a caring supportive adult... I used to coach young kids, I would hug them, listen to them, respect them, text them to tell them how awesome they are doing; It grew wonderful athletes and humans. If I coached now, I wouldn't be able to do any of those things... They've been building a cold, sterile world and we are seeing the outcome... #RIPMichaelJackson He was definitely suicided by the music industry that made more money from him dead than alive.

Keep guiding Jaylin and informing her with what you research. I’m so glad you got out of Cali! I love watching you guys wake up to this stuff, my husband and I have been fans forever!

JAYLINA DONT LET FEAR GUILT RULE YOU. HAVING 4 CHILDREN IS A BLESSING. THERE WAS 4 OF US CHILDREN IN FAMILY. YOU HAVE BEAUTIFUL HEARTS. GOOD PARENTS. DONT CAMPARE YOURSELFS TO OTHERS. GOD MADE U WITH OWN IDENTITY.
HAVING EVEN JUST 2MORE CHILDREN WILL B A BLESSING. TROUBLE IS WE HEAR THINGS WE GET MINDSETS.
IF YOU WANT MORE CHILDREN HAVE THEM WHEN U READY. JUST DONT MAKE U DECISION BY WHAT U HEARD.
U HAVE SO MUCH LOVE TO GIVE.

Zeth is funny and so real, you both are. The MJ worry is what the internet does to you! I think it's cool that you can speak to both adults and children populations in the same episode! In case children are not watching with their parents I would recommend putting a text and verbal warning to skip ahead to a later timestamp (for children-only audiences specifically)! Even if they don't listen.

  • @nicolahaslam6569

You are great parents and whenever you choose to have another child you will give enough time and love to each of them . Remember Saylor wasn't stoked because she was having a brother not a sister now look at how close the siblings are . That's because of how you handled the situation, showering both kids with love and they are so different because you allow them to be themselves

Also, I do think MJ was misunderstood. That comparison is better than Walt Disney lol.

I know what zeth means! MJ was abused himself by his father. MJ just wanted to live his childhood. The kids who lived with him said he was a very good person. The people behind him tried to destroy his reputation. But when Epstein did bad things nobody spoke really about him

Bro! I completely agree about the Michael Jackson thing. I don’t want kids of my own but I LOVE kids. I have so many nieces and 1 nephew and I just love being around kids. I’m a big ass kid and I love that they get me on that fun level. I’m not a weirdo and I don’t want them because I’m scared to have anyone else hurt them and have them suffer. So I feel you on that.

    • @N0EL-7007

I feel the exact same way! I have my younger sister, younger cousin, as well as the children I take care of at church. I just love kids! They just bring me so much joy. I’ve always felt like I resonated with Michael in a way when it comes to never growing up and just loving the pure joy and presence of kids, nice to see I’m not the only one. 😅 In a world full of adults it’s nice to just be around kids who are always happy and energetic. They keep me young, and really have just lifted my spirit. Having kids seems very scary, especially in this world. I don’t think anyone should have to feel weird simply for being childlike and having a special bond with kids. 💛
