    para madali.. 5 -------- 1.6
    9-------- x
    10 -------2.0 X = ( 2 - 1.6 ) / (10-5 ) x (9-5) +1.6 = 1.92 remember ang sequence ng interpolation : subtract, divide , times and plus

    good explaination👍...also it is important to realize the actual configuration on ship's oil storage tank where most are odd in shape and not perfect cubes or rectangular prism where it is not easy to interpolate...more pratical way to avoid overflowing when bunkering...

    Very interested but if possible because it is about the calculation of fuel oil, it is better as a suggestion to use a whiteboard, so that it is more clearly seen

    sir i have a question for u suppose my bunker tank capacity is 400cubic meter and i wanna take 360cubic meter HFO. for now how can i calculate and find out the actual 360 cubic meter HFO? is it possible to use your method and find out the actual 360 cubic meter?thanks in advance.

    • @akpvdensolartv3389
      @akpvdensolartv3389  Před 3 lety

      Hi Swarup Ghosh, Thank you for the comment. Each ship has a unique sounding table. You cannot use this table to determine the sounding of your tank. The sounding table shown here is just for illustration on how to derive a quantity in cubic meter by a given sounding or ullage, but as for solving the corrective specific gravity and metric tons, you can use this method. Thanks
