I've been an eBay seller for over 9 years and know that you are not supposed to sell certain things within the medical realm on their platform. Of course people do it and get away with it, but you are definitely taking a chance getting permanently banned, so good luck with that!
Yup ebay has been my LIVELIHOOD for five years and I can't get banned it would end my business

I did my research on this. It's legit, the only issue is finding ppl that are willing to sell their extras to you. Also, the buyers only accept certain brands, and expiration dates are everything in this business. Good luck if you find ppl. Too many crazy, and weird ppl to deal with paying them cash.

We resell them back to big name wholesalers/pharmacies who put them back on the shelf

You can't sell EXPIRED product. Only UNexpired.

Hi Monique, I always love your content. This side hustle has me a bit concerned⊠if people are getting paid for their surplus supplies, do you think they might decide to not test their blood sugar as often as they should? I would be concerned that this hustle might be putting people at risk. Probably the people who want to sell their surplus supplies are elderly or on disability and now they are being incentivized to put their health at risk by not using as many tests as they should.
Hi Linnea. That is a really great question. I honestly would only hope that is not the case but I do understand the pressure that many people may be under to do something like that. That is something to think about.
There is a large surplus, for example my father needs 4-5 boxes but get 15 per month.
I wonder who ultimately pays for the excess unused boxes. It's unlikely that the patient themself wastes money to buy each box.
If it's insurance companies or government who pay, you KNOW someone is footing the bill. đ€đ€
I don't think you know anybody with diabetes like they really have so many boxes laying around the house it makes no sense they don't know what to do with them all.

Monique I like to know how people get a surplus of test strips or whatever, because I've been a diabetic since 2007 and there are times when CVS short change me. As a matter of fact when it comes to CVS whenever I have to get pill prescriptions I have to literally have to get all the pills out of the bottle and count them individually because sometimes they short me about 5 pill every time. I hate CVS. And by the way people like me that can't afford to buy what it takes to continue checking our sugar levels people like this young man are getting rich off those that really can't no longer afford it. Also because the way the system works I've been forced to stop getting medical insurance and stop going to doctors because I can't afford it in order to be able to eat. Still love you lady.
