hello how's it going. This cartoon is done and now you are watching it. Isn't that wild? yes. I hope you like this one. It's about the times I played sports. I played basketball, baseball... I am just realizing right now that baseball is called base ball because you run around the bases... wow. I really just didn't know that this whole time. Anyway I also did skiing and track and field. I was bad at everything I did. I also talk about how I'm really bad at golf, but I am kind of thinking listening back to it that you kinda had to be there for that one. I think I've come a long way when it comes to making these videos but oof sometimes I just fall right on my face when it comes to telling stories. But it's all about improvement right? I'll just do better next time :)
I find that I am not really big into competitive stuff. Sports being one thing, but video games too. I like more casual games like minecraft. I used to be big into league of legends, but haven't played in years. It was so toxic, so now I just play block game :) and make block house.

oh hey, im a boy scout, and my troop does yearly skiing activities, and i can say, quite firmly, skiing is hard, especially since the whole "fries to go fast" and "pizza to slow down" thing doesnt work all that well, especially on more steep hills, but in all of my skiing activities, i can say that the main hard part of skiing, is fear factor, especially when you go down a hill and you can see the bottom.
most easy hills are the same as hard hills (at least in most places where you sign up to go skiing) but the difference is how much of the hill you can see.

I can relate as I suck at every sport up until I was 15 to finally find one sport that I enjoy: Table Tennis. I suck at the beginning but despite losing so much, I had the most fun I had playing a sport. fast forward to when I am 32 years old I finally found a sport that I am most passionate: Archery. Won my first bronze in my first competition at 36 years old. Most sports are very discouraging because there is a timeline you need to adhere to, especially if there are competitions. And most of the time, sports don't inspire passion because how there's pressure to catch up with other people. I am thankful that I found something that I am genuinely love even when I lose, I fail and I embarrass myself - I am willing to get back into it and become better.
For anyone who is looking for a sport where the PROCESS (instead of talent and winnings) matters a lot; I highly recommend archery.
My sports experience has been getting hit in the head by (almost) every piece of sporting equipment you can think of. Baseballs, soccer balls, basketballs, one of those plastic bowling pins, tennis balls, an exercise ball once, foam balls, golf balls, frisbees, I even got domed with a bat once (The hitter threw it).
Andy took his time for like a couple of months to animate this story for us, all his effort, for a 11 minute video. Thank you Andy.

oh i viscerally feel the cross country skiiing thing. i was so bad at it that my class straight up left me behind in the woods once on a skiing trip so i just had to turn around and hobble back to the lodge and sit alone for like three hours lmao
I skiied down a small hill and crashed into the teacher and a tree while the whole class watched me do it. We can ski together

When MY GRADE went cross country skiing, i was first in line and i fell over and couldn’t get up, and they had the little ditch things to guide us so no one could go around me
Once in the 5th grade, I went skiing at Afton for a school field trip with my dad! I thought it would be amazing, because I had never tried it before, but I ended up getting stuck in place. For hours. Just sloppy slipping. I was running in place while people were doing black diamonds. Sad day, but I got the trick of it.
When it comes to watching sports, i find i like watching the ones that i know how to play, so thats football and baseball. It can be exciting, or infuriating.
