  • I started out to make a video showing me installing a paint pressure gauge on my Magnum Pro X 17 paint sprayer pump. Murphy's law took over from there. My GoPro Hero 8 decided to format the memory card all on it's own after I had finished recording. It erase ALL of my video files. So, I used my other camcorder and redid the video. Enjoy :o)

I agree the pressure control valve should be more that a dial with a sticker on it. How did this work for you so far?

      Hi Jerry
It worked out good, I just adjusted the psi the paint manufacturer recommended and it worked great. Beats the trial and error method and wasted paint doing it.

Where did you buy the fitting that comes from the sprayer into the tee? Im having a hard time finding one. Thanks.

Look at the comment I replied to Jerry Johnson.
In my reply I gave the Name, address and part number where I bought mine from. The guage came with everything you need. You just remove the hose and connect the unit to the pump, then connect the hose.
Hope this helps. Thanks for commenting 🙂.

I got mine from a company in Austin, Texas.
By the way I got the name and address from Graco.. go figure. lol
      Here's the company:
      E.A.H Austin, INC.
      P.O. Box 80828
      Austin, Texas 78708-0828
      512-339-7788
      P/N 0508239 Gauge Assembly $79.50
I don't know what the price for it now is, but you can check with them to find out. It sure beats $200.00.

I’d like to know how low the pressure can go

    • @nmsidewinder
      @nmsidewinder  Před 2 lety

      Hi Murphy
The lowest reading on the guage is 200psl.
The range of the guage is 0 to 5000psi. Each mark is 100psi with the exception of the 1st mark past 0 which is 200psi the following marks are ALL 100psi each after that. Hope this helps. There are numbers for 1000, 2000,3000,4000, and 5000.

    Where can I find this?

I suggest you contact Graco and they can provide the latest information about where to purchase the pressure gauge. I would give you the information but I can't find the paperwork at the moment and it is best to get the latest information from Graco because of the supply issues we are having.
