The song Sweet Freedom by Micheal McDonald from the soundtrack of the movie reminds me of him. The legendary dance between Hines and Mikhail Baryshnikov in White Nights was the highlight of that movie. I love the song So Amazing. The gospel version is on my husband’s tribute CD.

Great profile! I grew up watching Gregory Hines on TV when the was a part of Hines, Hines, and Dad. He was a great dancer and actor! I'm glad that we have people like Savion Glover to carry on the tradition! I'm glad that I got to see Savion when he was a kid! He was around 12 years old and it was at Symphony Hall, in Newark NJ, where he danced with some old-timers called The Copasetics. He was fabulous, but boy did he have big feet for someone so young! 🤭

Great profile! I grew up watching Gregory Hines on TV when the was a part of Hines, Hines, and Dad. He was a great dancer and actor! I'm glad that we have people like Savion Glover to carry on the tradition! I'm glad that I got to see Savion when he was a kid! He was around 12 years old and it was at Symphony Hall, in Newark NJ, where he danced with some old-timers called The Copasetics. He was fabulous, but boy did he have big feet for someone so young! 🤭
