The South African Wayde van Niekerk won the 🥇over 400m at the Olympic Games in Rio 2016. With 43.03 seconds he ran a new World record. He is also a two time World Champion. Enjoy this video with his first Olympic race in Round 1 over 400m.

I liked Van Niekerk strategy in the final, he ran fast in the beginning, ran faster in the middle and ran fast in the end.
I wonder, why don’t more athletes use such strategies more, it’s works everytime.
Not all the Athletes are Blessed with this kind of skills.
That's why there is always"one superstar" because he's different from the rest.
Every athlete is different .. with different strengths and weaknesses .. like Usain Bolt genetically he had a slow start so he can't create a stategy where he have a faster start then the others

Wayde always run a totally different final then the pre races... He is extremely unpredictable and always run he's heart and soul out ... There were one time after he won a race hes legs gave in .

Go Wade;-). That's my first distance in primary school before I focused on 200 meters and could easily do 100 meters too. My best was long jump and tripple jump and 4 × 100m.
