Oga COAS, I can see you in all the protective gears. But what about the soldiers under your command. The truth is that they are not provided with what they need, it's like being send to a farmland without tools needed. Those guys are being send to face terrorists that are well armed and motivated. I remember when the Nigerian Army used to be a force to reckon with. The Nigeria Army went down hill when Babangida come to power, he politicized and destroyed the Nigerian Army.
Then u don’t have any military understanding,, Generals , don’t go to the battle front , that’s the work of commanders ( most often the ranks of colonels , lieutenant colonels , majors, captains depending whether it’s a regiment , company , battalion or Platoon ) . Generals direct the war, usually they don’t command a particular unit, they direct the operations of an entire Amy regiment.
