Good luck, your gonna have to learn 2 types of arabics; the first one is the spoken one amongest arabs and everyday speech and also for music (ammiyah/dialect) The second one is the literature language/ news (Modern standard arabic) Arabs can speak Modern standard arabic but its like shakesphere english, the arabs will look at you weird; by the time you learn how to understand the Quran you will be so demotivated and then resort back to english as the reading language is so grammer based, but if you do overcome learning the arabic of Quran; you still can’t even understand what Arabs say as they speak dialect; so you have a long long journey and advise you to rethink your conversion to Islam or atleast be moderate in your belief. My maternal grandma forgot all of her child name before she died. but she didn't forget Surah fatiha, Surah Kawsar to Surah Nas. she was 78 May Allah grant her Jannah.

Good luck, your gonna have to learn 2 types of arabics; the first one is the spoken one amongest arabs and everyday speech and also for music (ammiyah/dialect) The second one is the literature language/ news (Modern standard arabic)
Arabs can speak Modern standard arabic but its like shakesphere english, the arabs will look at you weird; by the time you learn how to understand the Quran you will be so demotivated and then resort back to english as the reading language is so grammer based, but if you do overcome learning the arabic of Quran; you still can’t even understand what Arabs say as they speak dialect; so you have a long long journey and advise you to rethink your conversion to Islam or atleast be moderate in your belief. We need to recite verses in our prayers and Al-Kautsar is the shortest verses, beside Al-Ikhlas which is why every muslims remember those two verses very well.
