I never knew it was that easy lol
i will go super early next time to do this
@@spectrum1140 i live in Syracuse
The Syracuseans were definitely an underrated smaller army in both Greek and Roman history.
Also a beautiful place to visit today for classical history enthusiasts! Wonderful beaches to boot!
really loving your stuff dude, especially this new dive into the Punic wars.
X2
I'm loving this type of video so far, same style as the Punic Wars one! We need more! 👏
If Syracuse does a tower rush with their mirror towers, they can handle both Rome and Carthage !
Hey spectrum, I really love the videos! One thing I would say though is, when you're displaying, or about to display text on screen, you should try to do that fading to dark over the maps more gradual, maybe adding a blur too. The reason why I say this is that i like to watch hour videos on my phone, and that sudden fade to dark makes me think my phone is losing battery. Other than that, your videos on Rome and the history of the classical age is incredible; you're very clearly someone who is passionate about what you are doing, and the subjects you are presenting, it shows in your work and I love it for that reason! Can't wait to see more
Alright, thanks for the suggestion, I'll keep that in mind!
I like how king Hiro handled the first Punic war he made sure that his kingdom would last until his grandson screwed up
3:11 those are some cool symbols
Loved the video! Can’t wait to see what you do next!
Eu não sabia que você era de Portugal, salve do Brasil kkkk. Adoro seus vídeos
Love the work man, pretty new to your channel but I genuinly hope you keep at it!
Mighty underrated channel you deserve more views
good video on Syracuse, mate, can't wait for more

Refuses to elaborate further.
This quality is insanely good

Hey, loved the video, just a heads up during your first list of punic sieges of syracuse at 2:20 ish, you listed the first as 397-296 BC! That would be a hell of a siege.
You skipped the conquests of Hippocrates of Gela, and the Conquest of Syracuse by Gelon of Gela. Gelon made Syracuse the capital of his empire, which gave Syracuse the large amounts of land it owned right before the first battle of Himera. But I really enjoyed your video!
You should rank all Mughal Emperors (Padishahs). There are just 20 and 3 that aren’t counted. Not that hard considering the Last 14 are always gonna be ranked at last place anyway.
No. Fuck them
Wild
The pact with Syracuse proved that the Romans were not only better at warfare but also diplomacy.
Thanks teach.
Ancient Syracusan coinage is some of the best ancient art out there
1:34 Spartan General saves Syracuse from Athenian Invasion
2:16 Sieged by Carthage 4 times
3:44 Pyrus -> Cairo
Is this a one part of more videos on Syracuse or is this just where you decided to end the focus on their history on
I decided to end it here as from now on all content regarding Syracuse will become a part of my other (future) videos on the Punic Wars.
2:19 it’s 397-396 BC my dude,great video nevertheless
What software do you use to make these maps and for editing?
Krita to draw and Wondershare to edit. It's actually really basic stuff, as Krita's essentially Photoshop for poor people and Wondershare's just a slightly better version of Windows Movie Maker.
Love your work dude, please do a French king list, there is no way in the world non french people only know Napoleon and Louis 14th as great french rulers.
I sub for more Punic wars content (and that WW2 performance video coming up). Consider me an American swing state
2:20 101 years of siege ? No bad 🙃
The first Carthaginian Siege went for over a houndred years or is this just a typo?
Delete if spoiler but F's for Archimedes.
All HRE emperors ranked?
Didn't Plato try to make it a utopian state only to bankrupt it? Or am I thinking of some place else on the island.
Sucks how you skipped over timoleon of corinth the guy was worshipped as a new founder by the syracusans
LONG LIVE WEED
can you do a video ranking american presidents
