@Texan Kenobi Your sentiment may be correct using an incorrect word, but when you go from ignorance to outright justification for the usage of "pride" you have become overcome by the very thing
@Texan Kenobi If done with sarcasm as a form of humor using the word to bring shame upon pride again another thing entirely. Words have multiple meanings and context is always key but needs to be made clear at some point if not at once in order to not immediately spoil the joke
